Does anybody make traction aids for an 05 5 lug Taco? Something like a locker or posi to aid in mild off roading.

There are a lot of companies that make lockers for Tacos. Google it and you should find quite a few.

This is the old school way to do it on hot rods.

Keeps the axle from twisting and hopping..........

    Oh, and it works.

We called them traction bars. Any Camaro or Nova worth anything had them.

Yeah I've seen those but on muscle cars. I did'nt know they worked off road.

I found a lot of lockers for the prerunners & 4wd trucks none for my 2wd. Maybe I just suck at doing Google searches. What size is the rear diff on a 5 lug Taco?

    Duh, sorry dude.

When I think of performance, I'm solely focused on the street. These may not work then.

    Apologies.
