I've got a 2011 Tacoma and the traction control makes a really annoying beeping noise when the tires start to loose traction. It makes it really annoying to drive in the winter and if I want to do some donuts.

    Has anyone disabled this before?

ACTUALLY these trucks make it completely impossible to do donuts since doing donuts is illegal. The government is starting to crack down on things like this to protect the public from dangerous drivers.

If you want to do donuts buy an OHV and do it there. Keep the road for smart driving.

    rawdog is correct.

there is a mod posted up on this site, that most of us do. it releases an extra 25HP and 30ft lbs of torque, only takes a second and completely doable on your own. this is what you do:

drive to dry, paved parking lot
park truck in middle of said parking lot
    put truck in 4x4 LO
    engage locker
turn steering wheel all the way to the left
    tromp on the gas

from this point it will just take a few seconds, and youll know when you release the horspower and torque. your truck will also gain a couple MPGs, and your girlfriends teets will gain 2 cup sizes.

My son gets bummed out if he sees me playing in the snow and he is left out. I dont know what it is but doing donuts puts a smile on most gentlemans faces and a frown on most womens.

I'm not sure if you're serious or not but I don't see any harm in playing around in empty snow covered parking lots.

That's where we all learned to handle a vehicle in the snow and how they react to tailsliding and correcting for the same up here
