Well, if the shoe or drum is saturated enough, the computer might detect that as slip and be trying to correct it. Dunno.

Hey guys, so the two shops I have taken my truck to told me there's nothing wrong, everything looks fine and they cannot get traction control to kick on when they drive...I however have narrowed it down, to only right handed turns that dip downwards...any ideas on that?

No. They didn't fix the axle seal or brake issue yet.

Well northern Cali is where I live. We didn't get too much snow last year, but I do drive in it quite a bit when I go see friends and family for the holidays. I talked to a few more shops today. So we will see how it goes. If they can't fix it l, kill switch it is.

Where in NorCal? My steering sensor was off like 26 degrees from spec and my shop recalibrated my VSC.

    Also in NorCal.

    Ever come down my way?

United Auto Center took care of me. I think the VSC calibration is $45.

Describe what it does when 'traction control' comes on in those turns.

I haven't taken it down that way yet. But thanks for the insight. Maybe one day.

It sounds like the rear end is locking up. And it starts to slide a little if I was going fast enough. Truck beeps on the inside and the traction control light comes on.

So I finally fixed the leak in the rear axle seal, traction control still comes on, only on right handed turns that dip...but now I'm looking at I stalling a led light bar in my lower bumper. Need some insight into good kits. If ya'll don't mind...
