Hey guys, I'm new to this forum. I just needed some hero with something.I just installed a lift kit today and my traction control light came on. I made sure my ABS line was reconnected before I finished so wasn't sure what it might be. Still need to align it but I didn't think that would make that light come on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not reseting the VSC zero point doesn't usually cause the light to come on solid , that just usually causes a hyper sensitivity of the system

FWIW my light came on and stayed on solid when I bent my spindle.
It didn't go off after replacing the spindle and getting an alignment.
it did go off after i cleared and reset the vsc using a jumper wire and hasn't come back on since.

I would get an alignment and then reset your vsc. It's really easy. Easier than getting you a link from my phone :D

And just now i managed that

Just the vsc light. The one with the car and squiggly lines?

it was on solid from the time I bent the spindle until I reset it.
I was really worried I broke something else but all was fine

Sorry it took me a while to get back, and yes the one with the squiggly lines. I will bring my truck in to get realigned when I can and see if that is why the light is on. My truck still goes perfectly straight since I installed the lift, just the steering wheel is off like 20 degrees to the right when it is going straight.

I looked at it again and I can tell the toe is off. They are out. So almost positive now it's just I need to get it realigned. By the time I was done putting the new suspension on the shop I was doing it off was closing so I couldn't. Thanks again for all the advice. Awesome community here.

I don't really drive my truck during the week and did it on a Saturday into the night. I realiz that and that's exactly what I'm doing. I was still wondering about the light though and I was just asking about that. Thank you though.

Just to caveat off this thread. My VSC light is on solid too and have an alignment already done. I have fox 2.5 and allpro uca's. I also have a vibration that is not constant and is not the tire. It starts at about 25mph and continues until about 65-70mph. It is annoying to say the least. I 285 cooper st maxx and have read people having vibe issues with these tires. ABS light is off and only VSC light is on solid all the time. Oh yeah, the vibration is from the right front side and is more noticeable when it is cold outside. The vibration is not on a certain revolution with the tire but at a time interval. I have never heard this from anything else before and I am at a complete loss. Thanks in advance and sorry for the highjack.
