    Hey all,

Has anyone had the traction control engage while starting to roll back down a hill in drive?

Had that happen to me the day I brought home my new 17 Pro home while driving up my driveway into the garage.

The truck started to roll back in drive slightly due to the incline and the traction control light started flashing,I could here the system engage. Weird sound lol

Never had this happen in my
    13’ Off Road.

Im hoping that it’s “normal”, when you spend over 40k on something you get overly worried lol

Yes it’s normal. Happens to me from time to time while I’m waiting for the gate to open to my neighborhood and I’m lazy on the throttle.

It’s definitely not the same hill assist that’s in the non OR/Pro models because it will still let you roll back very slowly but I imagine this is better for actual off road situations.

yup. happens in a little dip as we leave the driveway or if I let off the gas as I'm easing in to the driveway and it rolls back.

Hill start assist is active when the brake is released and no throttle. It gradually releases brake pressure over a 5 second period. Slip indicator flashing is normal; it indicates VSC is active. Solid slip indicator light would be a malfunction
