I felt bad about it (the spider), I'm usually a go in peace kind of guy, I did make it quick.

Had to laugh about the rock -- I'm so buried in this $100 yard sale tractor. Messicks had the parts in stock, probably here tomorrow.

Thanks! I’ll add it tomorrow from my computer, editing from my phone does weird stuff.

I got a deal at an auction on a zero turn with a 61” deck, it was too big for our yard. It’s not level and the deck would scalp some and the other side was high. 54” works good, 48” would be even better.

Lol. I did buy that machine. Presently in the process of rehabbing it. Fall vegetable canning got in the way. Hope to get at it later this week.

I'm done fucking around with FB sellers!

If they go "dark" on me for more than 8 hours just so they can get more add exposure, I'm reporting their ass!

How hard is it to respond in an adult manner?

After a "report seller", I get a response right away.

And yes, when I reach out, I do everything possible to write non threatening posts...even though I want to call them childish little bitches!

FB marketplace works, but fuck is it a pain! Anyone with a room temperature IQ can have an account!

    Sorry.

    Rant over.

I hear you though man. Every time I've tried selling something I'll get loads of "Is this still available?" responses. After I respond yes, I never hear another word from them. Super frustrating!

Those should be ignored. It's the canned response that people hit by accident.

I've never bought anything from those guys but from what I've heard they have a great reputation. I'm sure you'll be taken care of.

I feel your pain. ^^That one got me laughing good!^^

One of the things that irks me most: In the days of newspapers you paid by the word, FB/CL are free -- why not write an actual description and why do people post such crappy pictures? :annoyed:

They are generally good. I am unsure if their fix was a mod......or factory authorized........

IMG_20210914_150457.jpg I've been trying to buy this tractor for a couple of years. Finally got it this weekend. 1973 129 cub cadet. One owner, low hours, mostly original paint. Runs great but needs a little work. It came with a complete other one for parts.

That’s a nice one! Did you get the deck with it?

If you get a tractor with a loader, make sure it has power steering and preferably 4wd.

I have bought stuff from here before, good folks, guy has how to vids on you tube too. https://isavetractors.com/
I called with an order question one day and the guy in the videos (Norman) answered the phone and we talked for 15 mins or so. Super nice guy. He has some OEM stuff but the majority is imported. If you are working on older lawn tractors this is your only choice for a lot of these parts that have gone obsolete.

It came with a 42" deck. It needs a little welding and new blades. The parts one came with two 50" decks. I will fix one of them but am going to use the 42. I have a 60" deck on my other tractor.
