The only time I use 7018's is to cap a 6013 weld if it's in a high load situation :D

@koditten I doubt there's much demand for a greens mower but that small turbo diesel would come in handy for something else. Says it cuts off and needs some work though.

I know very little about the Toro diesels.

    Neat little unit.

Decided to strip the deck today.

Will need 3 idlers and bearings for 2 spindles...of course the only spindle with good bearings was cracked.

Full set of bearings and 1 housing on the way.

Will have to weld/build up this tensioner idler bushing pivot. Someone forgot the wear washer. The arm holding the idler is tilted because of the wear.

Not sure if this is the right thread for this, but I don't care.

Do ya'll think a Husqvarna 440 chainsaw would be able to run a 36" bar?

I doubt it, that's a lot of bar for that saw.

No, I have a walnut tree in my backyard that I am trying to sell. The guy that will buy it off me will only do so if I fell the tree and it's a 30" diameter tree at 10" above the ground.

It's about 200' from the house and on the edge of the property. He would drop it for me, but then he would want to do that for free and I'm trying to get money saved up to redo the upstairs bathroom.

I noticed my spring shackles are a little worn, as they should be since they’ve been on since 1981.

A new spring hanger kit is $37.99 at TSC, just the bolts and plates are more than that and I need 8 plates and 8 bolts

Last night in the shower I remembered I bought some 15+ years ago at a salvage store so I got to looking and found what I need.

I bought a few of these for $6.50 :bananadance:

That would be a negative especially in walnut. What size bar does the 440 have on it currently? Should be able to cut a 30” tree down with a 18” bar. Just watch YouTube videos. Out of curiosity how much is the guy willing to pay you for the tree?

I think it has a 16" bar. I figured I could just make twice the cuts.

It's clear black walnut with no metal. I know because the guy used a metal detector. He said he'd pay me $3.50/board ft. I think that's a little low, but I don't know much about wood prices. I figured any amount is more than I have now.
