That's plenty. You'll be able to do a lot with that.

I noticed this right rear wheel looked like the wheel bearing is shot, could just be from where he turned and parked. Then I noticed the fender was missing, the tail lights, and the tags

I guess no maintenance means more profit :)

I saw a food truck once that was way worse on both sides. Looked like this /\ I should have taken a picture. I mentioned it to them and they said they had it looked at and their mechanic said it was good.

That rear door looks to clean/new for 3k hour machine!!

Some of those older machines are desirable, no diesel emissions/filter.

Definitely would want to run it hot for hour plus then put it under load to make sure the hydraulic can lift 2k plus loads. Consider paying $200 for skidsteer mechanic to swing by after his shift for an inspection...
Ask owner if he has service records or receipts of maintenance items etc.

Heading out to look at a Ariens EZR 1742 mower tonight. Looks to be a Briggs & Stratton 17hp. Ariens has always been nicely made machines in my opinion, this would allow me to not have to trailer the Toro Time-Cutter42 every week between properties.

Anyone have experience with Ariens as far as mowers go? How about B&S 17HP engine issues?

Had a B & S 17 hp engine on my last zero turn, wasn’t a fan of it. Blew the base gasket once and puked all the oil out and was hard to start.

I got a box blade for it. I was going to get a rotary cutter but they wanted 2100 for it.

I still have my zero turn mower.

    Any other attachments I need?

When I lived in Wisconsin, if the GVW was under 3000lbs you didn't even need to register it IIRC. There were some real shabby trailers out there.

I don't think registering trailers is even a thing here. I see one "metal afficianado" in a beat up Ford Taurus towing a single axle trailer with wheels bowed out and the hitch almost touching the ground. he'll have that thing piled sky high with random stuff. no taillights, nothing. no one says a word I assume.
