V6, ACLB, auto 4x4. Traded the 19 for a 21 if that makes a difference in capacity. I do landscaping(mowing mostly). Empty weight of the one I’m looking at is 1770, I would have about 2400 lbs on it, about 3-4 times a week. Brake controller is already installed, trailer has electric brakes. I know I should go for the 16, I currently have a 12 single axle but 16 seems long. But I know if I buy the 14 I should of went for the 16 Thanks for the link!

A good brake controller and patience are key depending the size of your load…. I feel comfortable up to 4K with the taco … my camper was 4700lbs empty which I sold recently. I’d rather haul a load of wood in the dumper than the camper . Also hauled Kubotas , about 2k lbs …. The last pic i did not haul…. To much tongue weight

Painting again on the 3205. Gotta do the bottom and top of the hood in black, the wheels in yellow, and go back and re-do a couple panels due to me having them too tightly spaced the first time and not getting the edges--UGH! This is all Van Sickle catalyzed paint.

This :censored: thing is at it again.... No more green tractors.

Ran it 90 minutes 3 days ago, didn't miss a beat, cool - ready to go.
I was going to take it back to its job site (where I keep it to save me time - ha), started right up ran for a second or two and quit. I thought I got off the choke too quick.
Nope, damn thing won't start, just cranks... :annoyed:

I have never had any luck with green tractors, 3 of the 4 would never keep running reliably, granted all of them were old and cheap.

The one good one, I was primed to sell it right at the beginning of the season -- looked, worked and ran nice so it should go for good money -- I made the mistake of mentioning it to a kid who worked for me, naturally he "needed" it -- at a good guy price ... and 6 months of EZ payments... :frusty:
Then he left it uncovered outside over the winter, jacked it all up. :smack:

The New Holland (that I am buried in) cost a fortune to fix the deck -- but at least it starts reliably.

Sorry man. Take a look at the usuals. Fuel (pick up for grass, cap for breathing, hoses for kinks/collapse/filter), spark, air. Has the valve lash been set on it any time you can think of?
I feel like JD makes a good product but I won't own one due to their parts monopoly.

Buy a Tundra if you want to stick with Toyota towing that much weight so often.

Try a new spark plug, even if the 1 in it is new. I had more trouble in the last few years, (and wasted a lot of time) with spark plugs. Cheap and easy to change.

Bunta boxen, bleedin, bladin. That's German for grading the driveway :D

IDK if ya'll have seen me do this but this is how I like to mask wheels. Break the bead and cut a piece of cardboard ~1" smaller than the outside edge of the wheel. Tuck it in and it lets you get the bead easily with almost no masking time. Priming yellow.

Might as well. The MPG isn't that much different.

I get 14 with the 5.7. I can't do better than 18 with Tacoma and it drops fast as soon as you hit 70.

I gotta have flat roads and a tail wind to get that with the Tacoma while towing.

The thing ran like a clock 3 days ago.
Pretty sure it is spark, I spritzed some carb cleaner in the intake and didn't even cough.
It is a Command 13hp, I believe the lifters are hydraulic so no lash adjustment.

I don't have much in it -- for me at least...
This is the one I got from the B-I-L, a tree fell on it. Destroyed the hood, air cleaner, engine plastics and even the tins. I had an old hood around, got all the broken engine stuff off e-bay for less than $100 and 2 new front tires. My CC got a new battery, this got the hand me down.
