    Yep.
Follow up on this... BXpanded customer service is outstanding, 5/5. Emailed them on Friday, got a response on Tuesday with a FEDex return label - to be picked up at the house today - and was told the correct one would be shipped out by the end of the week. I will be ordering from them again... support the small good guys!

Edit - just got shipping/tracking info on the replacement. Color me impressed.

Carl's texted me.........first they could not duplicate the problem

Then he texted again and said he "tightened the lock over" and will deliver on Friday.

Consider adding a towel across those winch lines.

    Pretty quiet here.

Had to put my Toro/Predator project on the back burner.

Had a sized ujoint on my tundra. Just got done swapping that out. Decided to do both on the back half of the DS.

Not sure if it was a deal. I did these u joints back in '18 just because I wasn't sure of their condition. I bought the lifetime ujoints...which do not have grease zerks.

I got them replaced for free today, but did I really get them for free? If I would have been able to grease them, they most likely would still be fine. I dunno? I I kinda feel like I was bent over...again.

I’d rather have non greasable joints so I don’t have to bitch and moan that I forgot to grease them when I serviced the truck…. If they have zerk fittings and nobody ever greased them… what’s the difference?? It’s almost like a 50-50 toss up :-/

Well...I'm starting to second guess myself now. The powder that poured out of the joint makes me think there was not much grease to start with.

I added grease to all the cups on the new joints. It's a waiting game now.

Sure made a hella vibration at 80.

I was hella disappointed when I crawled under my 2021 to find they went to sealed joints. I even went and bought some fancy grease, loaded, and primed/purged my gun. It even makes mention of lubing them in the owners manual... On well, guess the mower gets some overpriced grease now

Ever notice -- always seems to happen, I was working on the 66 Ford last week and ran out of grease with (2) fittings left. :annoyed:

What kind of fancy grease did you buy? I have been using Kendall L-427 Super Blu grease for many more years than I care to count...

...like before you were born years...:pout:

I pop the shields off all idler pulley shields and load them up with Kendall blue grease. I think I still have 2 gallons or so...

The Kendall grease is kind of an exception for me -- usually I research damn near everything into the ground, takes time but you almost get a good outcome.

When I was young -- like riding a bicycle young -- I needed grease for my moms car. I went to a family run parts store (not my family):
me (kid): I need some grease
    parts guy: what kind
me: the best one for a car
He gave me the Kendall and I have been using it ever since.

Finished up the fire damaged ZMaster...mostly.

Kept hearing a high pitched rattle. Finally figured out I never tightened the pivot bolts to the roll bar.

Otherwise, this thing runs and mows beautiful.

Here is my latest vid. Beat me up as bad as you want. I can take it

About time you had a positive experience! The money they cost, you should not be having those issues.

Now you sound like my wife. Damit. She was right too. :D:p

She said it a bit different though.........like "you wasted $5000...........you always say I married a genius..........I think that is pronounced m-o-r-o-n.....that POC red thing is always in the shop........." You know in a nice tone of voice :crapstorm::anonymous:

Needless to say I let Gravely/Ariens know. :smack:
