X758, expensive and if I had to do it over again I would buy a subcompact. They are built good and have their place.

I hear what you are saying about "driving it like a raped ape"

I do exactly the same thing after I rehab one of these commercial ZT's.

My neighbor accused me if using one as a brush hog. I pretty much agreed with him.

I want find the weak link before I put them to the road.

Brought home farm trailer #2 today, never been moved since I bought the place, had to unload it, swap out tires/wheels. It's a home built with a RV front for the tongue and needs some more work, none of the boards were secured down, no lighting.
Thank God there was no active wasp nests behind those wheels, lol.

    Before.

Those generators came with the trailer, gas tanks are rusted pretty bad, probablt been outside for 7 years or more, probably will sell them off cheap $30 Honda and $20 for the champion.

That axle seems too far back.

Hang a sturdy ramp gate off the ass end to give you a better balance.

Regardless, for a single axle trailer, I bet it backs up as nice as a tandem axle.

Yes it is, those are 6 lug wheels on there also, and it has drum brakes, not wired and condition unknown.

Probably will use this trailer as a mobile chicken coop.

Should work perfect for that. Mount the coop towards the back will take some of the tongue weight off.

Here are some pics of the "fix". Not real sharp pics but WOW....the shop had to do THIS to a factory new machine. Originally the seat hinge rod was the OD of the bushing, so obviously went down in size, bushed it, pinned and clipped it. You can even see where it was hitting and where they cut some metal away. Nuts. Yeah, no thanks in the future.

I know how it goes…. Some grass seasons are ok and some can get expensive…. Joe bought a new bare mower deck mid season this year. 1500.00!!! Somehow a tree bent the deck… I wasent there at that particular time but I’m sure beer had a role in it:anonymous:

It's funny on my end as well. I installed a new carb on my neighbors craptastic Craftsman LT1000 rider.

He calls me an hour later and tells me"I hit a rock and now the blade just flops around". I ordered 2 new spindles and drove down and picked up the tractor I just dropped off.

I gave him one of my ZT's to finish up his yard. It was going to be 4 days before I got the replacement spindles installed.

His grass was stupid long and that Craftsman just was working too hard.

1025r? Or just a step up to the 1023e? I don’t ever see a need for a FEL, and I feel it would be a bit big for my needs though I do see a few people mowing their yards with subcompacts(I’m taking less then 1/2 an acre) but to each his own. Do ya just wish ya had something bigger?

The 1 series JD is just a riding mower on some steroids. Size wise, it’s tiny. But having a FEL would always be a nice option

I wanted to pass along some good info on eradicating wasp and hornet problems around your properties.

A year and a half ago I had wasps really bad in my wellhouse attic space and then they were swarming my house. I drilled holes in the wellhouse ceiling plywood and sprayed a mix of Bifen xts and Permetherin 10 up there and on all the inside wall plywood. I got >100 dead wasps on the floor over the next 2 weeks. I have not had another wasp in or on it since.

On my house I had them everywhere trying to nest in my sidewall trim, under the eaves. I have one hole in my concrete block foundation they've been in for years. I hosed the heck out of that hole. I opened windows upstairs and sprayed all the corner trim, climbed out on my porch roof and sprayed all my eaves and soffit. Done--no more wasps anywhere--total annihilation.

Last week was the first I've seen wasps around my house since then. Had them on one gutter of my house building a nest in it (hasn't rained in a month or longer) and congregating on the siding below it. I hit them with canned wasp spray one night and knocked down a dozen or so. The nest was inside the gutter though so I couldn't get it from the ground.

Mixed my bifen/permetherin 10 up and climbed out a window on to the roof after dark. Soaked it down really good. I could hear them falling down the gutter that night. Still had several buzzing around the gutter for a few days but the mix kills them so all that were out of the nest or newly joining the nest died after visiting it.

Where I hit the siding with knock down spray was avoided afterwards but they continued to visit the areas sprayed by bifen/permetherin mix and it killed them. Now there are no wasps again. All that visited that gutter are dead.

TLDR: Mix Bifen XTS and Permetherin 10 and destroy your wasp population for >1 year.

Good timing, I just did some spraying this week.

Do you mix the two materials 50/50?
