Expect we’ll see a grader in the culdesac Wednesday or Thursday after everything melts, just to show us what they could have done…

You guys with fiber -- up on my hilltop backwater I'm thankful to have a DSL line.
You fiber guys get 750-1000 whatever (mega-pixles?) I get 2-4, not a mistype, TWO to FOUR... Joys of rural living.:)

You guys and your fancy DSL. Nothing but satellite or hotspot for me out in the woods on a hilltop. Running a T-mobile 100gig hotspot here.

I’m tired of dealing with the cable company and having to reboot router every afternoon, or just stops working. Let alone going fiber will cut the bill in half

Just watched a grader operator lower the boom in fine fashion. Lotta guys get all fumble fingers but this guy’s a Pro.

My cable guy’s not talkin’ to me since I joked “Get off my lawn”.

Only choices up here are DSL or satellite. I don't know if actual dial up is available anymore.
It is only the 2 of us with Chromebooks so it works fine.

I'm getting better. She's been sleeping all day and seems to be wiped out. I'm pretty fatigued from it all.

That may take a few weeks to get over.
Down 2 weeks, came back to work, even the boss told me I looked like shit, go home….week 3 and 4 were rough but progressively better.
    Pace yourself.

Hospital policy is 5 days quarantine and then come back to work. With 30% of staff out sick below is their motto.

My old job was the same -- Company motto was "Do a little more, with a little less".

I’ve got one word for you folks - Starlink.

That is if you don’t have fiber coming soon.

Sounds good. Any info one when it will come online?

ETA: $99/mth, $500 eqpt fee. It's a great deal and would let me cut the cord and ditch DirecTV. I need to look into this a bit more. Thanks.

if fiber had not just been laid in the hood, Starlink had been a consideration when it was available here.

Here's my hood. Neighbors came over for a picnic on the front lawn. Think I qualify as rural?
