Much cheaper to go individual fenders if you are doing store bought.

The tandem axle fenders do come in different lengths, but they are spendy.

My solution is to just have some 18 gauge sheet metal bent into a channel.

Most fenders are 10" wide, but I can't tell if your axle is a standard off set. Regardless, easy math.

I like a 1" lip on the inside and outside.

I notch the fenders in 2 places, inside and out. This gives me 90* total and wraps the tire nice enough. My customers seem to like the"jeep " style fenders as well.

    Well, shit!

Looks like I'm resealing a pump.

Haven't even test ran the engine on this unit and discovered oil weeping from the head of this hydro pump.

Might explain why everything aft of this pump was covered in oil, soaked grime.

Picture of dry, right side for comparison. PXL_20220624_232133792.jpg

Apparently the guy who made it didn’t like drilling holes and made a space for bolts. Extra metal must have been cheap in 1981.

In the trailer shop we used a stand up T-drill. Made drilling floors a cinch.

Pretty clever idea, I don't like drilling holes either.

Made some holders for the new LED lights and filled the holes from the old ones. Man that sucks with a stick welder on a vertical plane.

Both corners of the tongue braces have been cracked so I made some reinforcements for that.

The ole Bobcat needing running. Took the old surge brake box off since they quit working a long time ago and replaced it with a heavy duty 2” adjustable coupler. I’ve replaced everything on this trailer for the brakes, not gonna do it again.

Ah so the guy who made it used two single axles and springs vs a tandem axle
