I HAD a John Deere 1025r. Great little tractor, but sold it due to current property constraints. I hope to buy another soon, maybe a large 3 series?

I'd like to have one of those just to use around the house but my wife would kill me if I brought another tractor home.

Not at all, we live in the city and no farming in our family.

I always liked the look of the fleetline Olivers and one day scouting a tractor junk yard in Attica Ohio I saw this 77. $800 later I was hauling it home. Rebuilt the engine #6 was toast. (which was the cause of them junking it.) Decided to paint it but once I saw the original dealer sticker on the seat I stopped and left the sheetmetal alone.

I also have a 39 low serial number ford 9N im working on.

That is awesome, cool back story. I have restored several tractor but the older I've gotten I appreciate a nice original more. They're only original once

I've never restored it, but always liked the "it's only original once" mentality. I'm not buying it to show or parade, I'm buying it to work. If I scratch up new paint I'll get pissed. If I scratch up old paint it's character.
That does have cool lines, I've always liked Olivers. My buddy just bought one of the small dozers with no blade. He's going to put a blade on it and probably sell it because he needs a bit more power. His kids love it, though.

No rear fenders scares the crap out of me. I've seen a few local farmers leave the fenders off when they rot and disappear. All it takes is a split second and you're dead.

Ol’ girl still mows. I’m pulling the deck off and putting my tiller on, but I HAD to try it at least once.

I have a 2320 and often think about the 3 series but with the newer 32 and 38R maybe a 3 isn’t necessary. Not that I need a bigger one but i want a backhoe.
