Torture machine from my youth. My father was environmentally conscious way before it was popular. We didn't have a gasoline powered mower.

"Silent" Scotts probably from the 60s. Nice to use on a flat lawn that isn't too long. Brutal on hills or overgrown grass.
I did a lot of neighborhood work with this -- didn't get paid much, everyone in the neighborhood was old, retired or dead -- and cheap...

You should have converted it to a rider. I made one of these years ago and gave it to a friend

I still use a newer version of that on my lawn. Of course, I've converted most of it to garden, so it only takes like 30 minutes. I'd like one of the new Fiskars models; those are like a Cadillac compared to the one I've got. $$ though.

Great. Your gonna love it. My 2020 pro turn has 44 hours on it as of right now and I couldn’t be happier. Love the new model colors and the new seat.

I wanted to buy from Faulk Brothers but they had no ETA on the 44”. Certified Mower had one in stock and guy cut me a little bit of a deal since I payed cash.

yeah the new 2021 seat is sweet! I’m really happy with this thing. The Kawasaki and 3100 hydros is a great combo for a homeowner.

    .
I have had 3 close calls with CopperHeads  .... the closest was with a baby copperhead when it tried to bite me on my wrist when I was cleaning behind some shrubs.

I had leather gloves on and one of its' fangs stuck in the outer edge of the leather glove (by my wrist).

I slung of the glove and the snake almost got me that time too ... I was just lucky.

Another time before that ... I was way out in the country ... target shooting and I saw this small plant container by the garden and went to pick it up with my hand ... but I bumped it first with my rifle and Mr. CopperHead popped out.

MY BUDDY HAD NOOO LUCK .... he was out with his daughter picking plants for her school project and he lifted a small log and was bitten on his middle and forefinger ... he didn't die ... but he was sick for a while and his 2 finger turned black and are now only 1/2 thickness on the ends/tips. Hospital had to carve off the bottom 1/2's of his finger tips weeks later when infection could not be stopped.

I ran into a CottonMouth by a lake (maybe 10 ft away) ... saw some bad snakes in the wild in VietNam and Thailand (lived in Thailand for a while).

    I am NOT a snake lover ...

EDIT ... Oh I saw a Hawk attack a CopperHead in the middle of the road by my last house and watched and he pecked its' head off .... then the hawk kept squealing (like a loud sound that I have never heard before) as I got close to the dead snake in the middle of the asphalt street.

There are several "grades" of Gravely.

I'll agree for the average residential user, they are pretty darn good.

If you are using one to earn a living, make sure it is a commercial version.
