Yes my bad… it is a composite deck… and it’s got a manual throttle cable in it! Which is my go to…. I’m not a big fan on the auto choke… this mower was bought in 2007

Put the 3205 axle and PTO in, packed the wheel bearings and installed the converted spindles with repacked lower thrust bearings aka poor mans power steering(even though I have power steering) New tie rod ends. Painted the steering cylinder and have it drying. Coming together. Forgive me on the blasphemous safety yellow rear wheels. The others are still waiting to be painted when I get time

Well it looks like I might possibly got bit by the counterfit Amazon product! Ordered a "better" deck belt for the mower the other day. Ordered a Stens True Blue belt, which from my experience have always been made in America. Well, not this one... Something also feels off about the packaging, I don't know what it is. Says made in India... :angrygirl:

So tomorrow I'll throw it on and see what happens. Also need to remove the mulching blades and cover and go back to the high lift blades. Grass is so damn dry right now it makes no sense to mulch it. Sharpened the high lift blades earlier with my air die grinder. So far it's the best thing I've used yet to sharpen blades. They didn't really need it, but I did it anyways to smooth out the nicks in the blade.

I just sent Sten's an email with your pics attached asking if they were now making belts in India.

Gotta figure out what I can do with this dinosaur.

16 HP onan running on 1 cylinder. Owner said it sounded like something went thru the engine and made a bunch of noise.

The front and rear pto location make it hard to find something that matches closely.

I'm hoping I get lucky when we open up.

Owner has sentimental attachment. Her dad gave it to her shortly before his death. She would really like to keep it operational.

I made no promises, but would research some options and give her something to think on.PXL_20210801_003034064.jpg PXL_20210801_003046315.jpg PXL_20210801_003055661.jpg PXL_20210801_003110688.jpg PXL_20210801_003147117.jpg PXL_20210801_003155157.jpg PXL_20210801_003303019.jpg PXL_20210801_003318225.jpg
