Idk, imo towing with trailer brakes, something over 3k lbs wouldn't be much an issue with these tacomas. I had a 2001 tundra with a brake controller i used with my big boat years back, and it towed fine. The tundra wasn't much bigger, or heavier than these gen3 tacoma's. In fact i think toyota rates the tacoma to tow at least as much, or more than my old tundra.

    Safety issues.
No trailer breaks is a no no on a tandem trailer.
Too much weight on the back end of the truck.
If he had a Reese hitch with chains he could shift the weight off the truck
Lastly trailer is not made for carrying this tractor for sure and I am surprised that he made that far.
It proves how much this guy cares about his equipment . just saying

I have done many sketchy things with trucks. Just because you can, does not mean you should!

I would be more concerned with that trailer than what he is pulling it with.

I pull this set up with my Tacoma -

I would have thought the same if I hadn't heard otherwise from various owners who have towed.

Yeah, but the guy has to be a fool if the trailer hasn't any brakes.

Man, I hate skimming through a thread and realizing somewhere on the second page that it's been needlessly revived from years-long dormancy.

I hate that almost as much as I hate irresponsible trailer owners.

Anyone towing that in a mid size is a fool to begin with. If you’re pulling that and don’t have trailer brakes, you’re absolutely retarded
