You gotta use the little guy like my Dad did he sent me into the tight places, and yelled at me what to do and hurry up.:rofl:. God bless him he had patience but not a lot of it. I do miss him, he's been gone 20 years now.

Some of you know and some don’t, my mower with the Kohler starting acting up last summer. I have fought and fought it. All new fuel lines, filter, plugs (2 times), genuine Kohler coils, Amazon fuel pump, Kohler fuel pump, Amazon carb, another used Kohler carb, back to the original Kohler carb, head gaskets, it runs great for 20-30 minutes then shuts off. It recently started starting on one cylinder and would eventually catch the other one.

I took the carb off yesterday and took it apart. The accelerator pump was hard as a rock, replaced it with one out of the other carb. Still hard start, one cylinder.

I told Cole let’s try something, I had a brand new 12V electric fuel pump. Put it on, starts easy, runs strong, mowed some with it, not sure if I got a bad Kohler fuel pump or some other issue with the vacuum line feeding it, I did replace it when I did the fuel lines though.

One advantage of being a big hefty guy - people look at the space, then you and say "I guess I'll crawl in there." :D

Take him with you he just needs training. He won't get it if you leave him home in front of the gaming machine...

No doubt, but he just doesn't seem to have the interest or personality for a lot of things like we discuss here. I encourage him to learn, but i'm not going to force him like I grew up with.

He does like power tools though so there is hope.

A drought here is never really a drought. Recently I need to start building a boat and collecting animals two by two.

What catagory does fencing fall under?
Went out in the winter weather to play with Mal. and the neighbor was fencing between our properties. At 78 we went over to see if he needed a hand, ended up helping for about 1.5 hrs. and no I didn't take pictures phone was in the house. The reason I don't carry phone is no signal to call anyone even 911 or 811 sorry laps of judgement.

Ok, so I ordered this one from Amazon. It looks very similar to the one in the pics from OTT. It should be here by the end of the week.

I rewelded the center blade to the spindle again. Hopefully, I'll get one more season out of that spindle. :fingerscrossed: I cleaned up the cutting edges while I had it up in the air.

Haven't put my new blades on yet.... Running last seasons until I'm doing running thru all the sticks, walnuts, hickory shells & so on. Then will change to the new ones in late May.

That is basically building a full on new deck for that mower. Nice work!
