Run the NGK - it's all I run in my 029. It is the "preferred" choice for Stihl saws.

I have two Stihls -- a chainsaw and a leaf blower. Both are ~5 years old. Both came with a thick, dense, wool felt air filter. Neither tool would start for s**t until I threw those air filters away and replaced them with foam rubber that I cut to size. Now they fire up pretty easily and very reliably. I oil the foam rubber, clean it when I service the units.

It works great for taking the saw up on the mountain.

For my saws I get the nylon screen type filters. Easy to clean. Can't abide the felt ones, can't clean them!

About 10 mins later my pile is gone. Would have taken an hour with my old one, cutting down to 2” straight pieces.

Speaking of which.. I have to give a huge shout out to my Harbor Freight 6500 watt generator. We've been running that thing 6 or so hours a day just about 5 days a week for the last couple of months and it has performed flawlessly. I'm thinking about buying a second! It is used as a power source for a 220v floor sander.

Never fear... @six5crèéd has found a way to incorporate Generators into the thread title. Fingers crossed that I never have to come here with a problem with my Pressure Washer... if that ever happens @six5crèéd is gonna be in TTT. :annoyed:

Honda is out of the lawn mower business in 2023. If you need parts and such for yours, it may be a good time to get a few things.

It's true. Now, they are NOT getting out of other home products but the lawn mower side is finished. I have a 216 or 217 [can never remember], great mower, [except for the cheapo drive wheels that cost a fortune] fantastic deck, but slow.

I wouldn't want to be in the lawn equipment biz with monsters in the attic like California stuffing ridiculous emission regs down my throat that are almost impossible to be met and have the engine actually run and be financially viable to sell.

Made another pile and ate it up. Found the limit on what the infeed would grab.

Picked this up last week when I saw HD raised the price so I got it from Lowes… dang.

I hope I don’t have the drive wheel issue.

I did see Stihl has gotten into the ZeroTurns

Two holes, a can of low expansion foam and a couple clamps to hold it together while it sets will fix a split tire for years. Cost, $5 for the can of foam.

I wonder why the price at Home Depot changed $50 higher last week for three days when I went to buy my mower… :goingcrazy:

anyway I see it’s back down to the $549 price. I like dealing with Home Depot credit and return/ repairs a lot more than Lowes oh well. :drunk:

4wheeler trail maintenance was a bust, too warm to be cutting trees out of the way. So I bush hogged instead.
