Weird how different areas of the country are selling out of certain products.

Colorado- No Toyota’s, GM 3/4 ton gas trucks, toilet paper.

The local Chevrolet lot here is getting thin too. Toilet paper, forget it.

A friend of mine just bought a new GMC AT4 Duramax, he wanted white. He looked for 3 months and found a black one 2 hours away and bought it. It’s crazy.

We bought a Kubota M9540 from a dealer in Tennessee that usually stocks about 300 new tractors. When we bought our Kubota at the end of October, they had 9 full size tractors on the lot. We are still waiting on them to finish prepping our tractor, we ordered a new loader for it and it hasn’t come in yet. It was supposed to be in on or around Dec 1, but still hasn’t came in. I’m really excited about this tractor, it’s an 09 with 573 hours. One owner, pre-emissions, bought new and traded back in at the same dealer for another new tractor. It’s always been kept inside and looks brand new. We traded the weights for fluid in the tires. This will be our first Kubota, but a buddy of ours has an M8560 that we really like. The hydraulics are really quick and they turn on a dime for a MFWD tractor, they are great tractors for moving and loading/unloading round bales.
I’m really liking my L5P Duramax, I recently rolled over the scales grossing 39,680 lbs (not with the hay, it’s not that heavy). It tows really well and the new GM trucks have brakes that are far superior to the older GM trucks.

I really liked my 7.3, it had a ton of tractor like qualities which was a blessing and a curse. Great that it always started and could typically be fixed with bubble gum and duct tape. Bad that you never forgot you were riding a school bus engine designed in the late 80’s that was second only to Detroit Diesel in terms of turning fuel into noise.

This one is a 4440. We also have a 4620 but are having fuel pump issues in that one. (We run it flat out powering a pump for irrigation)

New to the thread. Names Zeke. Been a tech for 7 years now. Worked for Holt/Cat back in the day rebuilding tracks. Turn wrenches on Toro golf mowers now. Gotta keep the rich folk happy. I work on the occasional tractor or skid steer here and there. We just picked up Ventrac on our product line. That's a pretty cool product I think. Also work on toro's version of a ditch witch. Just finished a Polaris ranger engine swap a few mins ago. If it has an engine, I'll more than likely work on it though.

Ha! You just doomed yourself my friend, we have 2 ventracs and they’re incredible machines but come with their quirks. Now I know who to ask for any outside info.

I like them, but haven’t really had to do any huge repairs yet. They seem like a solid machine. I bet a big component failure would be an absolute bitch of a repair. Honestly everyone we’ve sent out hasn’t come back.

The only real issue with them are belts and pulleys just because there are so many. Everything else is super stout. We only use 3000 series machines to mow in between rows of Christmas Trees and I use them to pull smaller utility trailers when I don’t feel like using an ATV

Whats up fellas? Glad I found this thread. My wife thinks I have disease as I'm constantly buying clapped out JD riding mowers and fixing them up. I've managed to flip them all for some sort of profit although I'm thankfully not in it for the money. My current mower is this sweet JT235 that I picked up for a song and a dance. I've got it put together and running to the point that I can mow the lawn with it, however I still need to do some work with the deck lift.

I also have an early 80's kubota L345DT that I just love. I mainly use it for brush cutting and road maintenance around our property.

Every now and again I get to load it on the trailer and take it to a friend's house for the odd job.

Nice gear! Welcome to the thread!

I have the buying part down but sadly not the flipping and profit part... :frusty:
