Ford needs a battery, swing out tray works great until it hits the loader frame.

You find that on old forklifts and man lifts too. Works good except people keep cutting the wires back and using the crappy clamp on terminal ends until the wires are too short to allow it to swing out anymore... :smack:

I don't mind working on stuff -- just not stuff other people have worked on.

Weather was too nice to be inside. Little clean up of ugly things.

No sweat! I've pulled out a couple like that with my Kubota BX. Support it with the bucket, cradled between the boom and the dipper, and haul her away. Love finding rocks like that to use as features along my driveway edge or in gardens.

I’ve been pulling them out along my stream all winter. Going to find something to do with them eventually.

Changed 4 front mower tires today, now I remember why I was putting it off..
Used my welding table for a tire machine, a long piece of all thread held the wheel down.

Fortunately the old Farmall 140 came with the bead breaker attachment.

Hate doing this. I’m just glad I can take mine to the shop and use the tire machine .... even then sometimes it can fight back

Here it the project, John Deere LT 133, Kohler Command 13 hp powered, built about 1999. Seems it had the bad luck to have a tree fall on it.

Destroyed the hood and side panels. I had an old hood from a 70's JD which is currently just sitting on there, need to make some hinges.

Broke the blower housing, cooling tins and air cleaner - I found all of them on e-bay for about $60.

This has a mulching deck, the blades overlap and are timed so that they don't hit. The blades turn opposite direction of each other.

What's strange about this is I have a mag drain plug which had very little metal stuck to it. Cut open the filter and minimal glitter as well. Neither troubling.

This era of Cub 3000s had problems with differential bolts backing out as some had no loc-tite on them from the factory. They usually grind on something but there's no significant metal in it.

Wish I could get it out and torn down but I'm working until Tuesday.

These are 6" rim front tires, the axle hole is too small to fit on the old Coats center post machine. The tires are Carlisle brand, made overseas nowadays. Even after sitting in the (very nice) sun for a few hours the sidewalls were still brutally stiff.
