    Yep.
I jacked the prices by a grand as well. Peeps with their stimulus checks are gonna have skin in the game if they want one of these.

This is the old gal the new one replaced. I'll keep it around for awhile longer to use the vacuum system on leaves but I'll go thru it this summer while it's taking a break. It still has the original hydro belts so those will get replaced and I'll do a fluid and filter change also.

Only problem with that Grasshopper front mount is that it is giant, you need an entire garage bay to store it. That model can mount a snow blade or blower too. Awesome machines, there is a dealer not far from me, I hope to find one someday -- old, worn out and cheap naturally. Almost all of my projects seem to start by leaving a puddle of oil on the garage floor... :anonymous:

Oh man, I just ran across one last summer for $1500 bucks a couple years newer then mine but with no vacuum system. I toyed with getting it because it ran well but I need more old stuff like I need more arthritis.

I love that every bearing, wheel, and U joint has grease zerks. I have never replaced any bearings on it other then the wheel one's and they were actually fine but all of them were under $50. [2 per wheel]

Lol, that's why we can afford them. PS: That yellow streak is an oil filter hiding under the filth.

G’morning fellas, you boys enjoy the weekend. Been busy at work and side working lawn mower service. 2 push mowers and a rider. I did the rider service at the customers house as I brought what I needed with me. Tools, grinder, floor Jack and factory cub parts. Full tune up, grease, sharpen blades and clean deck. 110.00 in parts... he gave me a heads up about his battery being dead.... so I brought my charger and charged it while doing my thing... after 40 minutes it showed 7volts! So thinking ahead I had a new battery I bought last September and kept it on a charger. So that’s why the parts were 110.00. Charged 90.00 in labor. 200.00 bucks for a twin engine tune up at home.... I think that’s fair. You boys enjoy

The Grass hopper really is a lifetime machine, built to be serviced and repaired. $1500.... Probably have ended up on my trailer. :annoyed:

What I need and what I drag home have only ever had the slightest connection...

I'm skeptical too but it only has 538 hours on the hour meter and that's a separate gauge that matches every other gauge in the cab. I bought my 2005 2500 HD with 65k miles and 96 hours on it as well.

Thanks! The only real issue is that the floor of the sleeper needs a lot of work. I'm planning on pulling it off over the summer and rebuilding it.

    65,000 / 96 = 677 mph! Boy, these newer trucks are fast! :)

Even faster, You need to account for idle time! It was a poor joke I guess, the hour meter on the chevy is clearly wrong (it's electronic). The meter on the Autocar could also be wrong but at least it's mechanical.

    I love all the JD's , guys.

I sold the 212, 214 a couple of years ago, and traded the X7 for the 2520 last year. In the past, I've had a 1966 round fender 110 and a 1970 square fender 112. I also have mid mower for the 2520 and it is my primary mower. The 318 is all original, but the engine is starting to smoke and I only use it as a backup, but I'll never sell it.

I thought electronic things were never wrong
I hope the one on the Autocar is is right, that is a neat truck. Are you going to use it for everyday (making money) use?

The plan for now is just to have fun with it. Take it to shows and slowly clean it up and get it primo.

I am working on a mower adapter for my two post lift. I need to get updated pics because I have added some additional reinforcements, and will be adding several safety features.

Had some inward bowing in my long side rails. I lifted this mower 6" off the floor and got it bouncing up and down to try to break or bend anything. Nothing failed, but I just didn't like the rails bowing.

I am also going to figure a way to keep the front wheels on zero turns from rotating when raised. There is a chance if they rotated, they could drop off the bars. They don't seem to want to rotate, but they could.

Main point of the design is since the brackets slide along the rails, it can be used on any length wheelbase.

Pic is my 48" residential grade Scag. Since adding additional reinforcements, I have lifted my Dad's 52" commercial Scag, which weighs around 800-900lbs, bounced on it, and zero give or breakage. So, I feel good about upgrades for additional strength, just need some safety features.

I'll get final configuration pics next time I lift and they'll show reinforcement and safety features I've added.

My company buys all our snow boxes from Express Steel and they kick ass. I’ve ordered 3 boxes from them now and they are great to work with, speedy and super reasonably priced.

Those older chevys reset all the time for some reason. The newer ones keep an accurate count. My dads LML Duramax has 67k miles and 5,000 engine hours. The Denali trucks with the fancier cluster show total hours and idle hours. My L5P has a little over 28,000 miles and 1,400 engine hours.
