Thanks for that. Put six hours on it just playing around getting use to it before I had to head back west for work. Love it so far. Gonna need skid shoes for the plow though. Gonna come in handy for driveway maintenance (720’ gravel road) and landscaping around the property. Once I run out of projects for the backhoe, which won’t be anytime soon, I may upgrade to a slightly bigger machine, like a B2301 or 2601. Maybe an L series. I’ll see though when the time comes...if it ever does.

My buddy had a front blade for this 154, hopefully it’ll help it sell.

That should help sell it. I think it'd do pretty good plowing snow

Needed the rear bracket for this hydraulic cylinder. Found one on eBay pretty cheap and it just came in. Had to play so I pushed the edge of the dirt back on the garden. I need to talk my wife into letting me keep this thing. We don’t have a whole lot in it but who really needs 5 tractors on 1.2 acres? :D

Weatherman said there was potential for an inch of snow Friday night. Figured it was time to put the blower away and pull out the mower deck. 5E929FD4-36E2-4791-B208-F5D7064D5E82.jpg

A certain way to bring the snow

I washed, greased, and put the plow away in the garage at the end of March because we hadn't had more than 3-4 inches of snow the entire month. Since then we've had two storms that dropped 8+ inches that I've had to clean up with the tractor instead

I can’t recall how few times i used it this year. Maybe 3 storms could have been 4. Very quiet winter. Now on to mow season

Biggest storm we had all winter long was the one last week. Dropped 10 inches of wet & heavy in about 8 hours. Before that, we had one that dropped 8 or so in 12 hours at the beginning of December. Weak-ass winter for sure. Lots of rain, and a fair amount of cold weather between rain storms.

love the bx series not much they can't do, just slower but very capable. I have the kubota b2650 and a John Deere x758, both great tractors for their intended purposes

I know this is a lawn mower but I want to share what has happened with me this week. I have a bobcat zero turn. Haven’t liked it since I got it 9 years ago. Bought a trac vac at an auction 7 years ago for $550 to get our leaves up. A customer gave me a small cub cadet riding mower and I used it to pull the trac vac. I’d mow the leaves in rows with the zero turn then get them up with the other one. It worked but wasn’t fun. I took the bagger off yesterday and will only use it for leaves.

I’ve wanted a zero turn with a bagger to eliminate the trac vac and the riding mower but couldn’t afford 6k +. I found this one nearby from a friend this week and tried it before I bought it.

It’s got a 27 hp Kohler on it and he gave me a spare engine someone gave him.

Parked my trac vac in the yard yesterday and sold it for $200 more than I paid for it years ago. Hopefully I can sell the other two soon and get all the money back I paid for the hustler.

Cole wanted to ride his round fender 110 too. My dad gave it to him when he was a year old.
