Went over 100 hours this week, and another 50 hour maintenance schedule under the belt.

We have been cleaning out my in-laws property. Tractor made short work of all the heavier lifting.

    52407A7D-393B-4F81-A3E4-0EA12B49A862.jpg

Loading this up was not worth the scrap value vs the work. The trailer was still heavier than the load. Lol. 40.00 was not worth it.

Been finding interesting ways to break the inner bead on my tires for the crawler. Who knew I could use a tractor for so many things around the house.

My neighbors 47’ Farmall FEL couldn’t lift a hot tub, so I did that for them on Sunday.

    102 hours on the machine.

I’ve also seen people taking a track for a snowmobile and splitting it.

How many hours? I've got over 850 on mine (probably 250 of the hours are mine) and they're the original cylinders, and 90% of the time I'm on it is loader work.

Still disconcerting, lol. I've put a lot of use through my loader since I bought this little mule and rebuilding cylinders is a pain in the butt.

Friend of mine ask me yesterday if I had a tiller that works. I said yeah but I haven’t used it in 3 years. He ask if he could borrow it and could I have it running by Friday. I said sure, I’d be willing to bet $10 I won’t have to pull it more than three times and it runs. He said okay. I videoed it for him, then I washed it. This is the same gas that has been in it for 3 years with some blue sta-bil.

Did a little tractoring yesterday. This COVID crap has my work schedule all screwed up, with Wednesday's off, but it does free up some spare time. Still a little muddy in the lower lot; I found myself wishing for Ag tires (or at least wishing I still had the chains on) a couple of times. But we're making progress.

My main rock pile is getting pretty big, though. Considering this all used to be farmland 100 years ago the soil's pretty bony.

The GF's parents have one of those Troy-Bilts as well. They run it dry every fall instead, but the story's the same. Fill it with gas, give it a few pulls, and it fires right up.

Friend of mine does mowing. He bought this just to mow septic fields at some of the large developments around here.

I hope he likes weeding, lol.
Unless he's not planning on planting anything there this year, just tilling it over every couple of weeks?

I don't know what his plans are, his wife says she wants a garden so he tilled a spot. I think they will quickly realize it's not just plant stuff and harvest it

They could probably get away with using that plot and not getting invaded by weeds if they mulch everything really heavily, but still...People tend to underestimate how tenacious grass is.

Yeah I constantly fight crabgrass in our garden and eventually give up toward the end of summer. My buddy and his wife just moved in this house last year and he planted all that beautiful grass in the picture. He wasn't too happy about tilling it up to begin with :D

Even with my well-established raised beds, I still spend probably 2-4 hours a week weeding, depending on the time of year. Amazing how fast they grow, compared to the vegetables that I WANT to grow.

Put the welder up in a different shed, decided to try something since I knew it would be tight. Worked good

Went with a good friend of mine today to get this cub. It was my cousins, he passed away a couple years ago and his wife wanted to sell it. My friend was good friends with my cousin. He bought it for $500.
