Cool. We've got an old farmall and it has down pressure on the hitch like that, wish they all did

That is just a floor jack and the wheel under the rear mount for the mower deck.

The 140 is an offset design, so the right wheel has a cast iron hub, I jack the wheel up and put the mower tire under the mower mount, release the jack and the concentrated weight breaks the bead.
International called the offset tractors Cultivision, allowed the operator to see the rows. I don't do anything with mine except drive it around the yard.

    Mine isn't this shiny.

Several years ago a friend of mine got me hooked up with A & I and I became a dealer. Really simple process and it’s nice to be able to order mower and tractor parts at cost.

Well, I got an email yesterday saying starting this year if you don’t have $2,000 in orders a year they are cancelling your account.

Looks like come 2023 I’ll no longer be an A & I dealer :pout:

Won’t even break a sweat. We may have 10-12” but still, 43hp turbo is nice.

I'm pretty much a fan of simple stuff -- no computers.
That data tracker however is bad @$$, that is cool!

its a little blue tooth module that connects to the service port. Nice to see the running dashboard on the phone. The feature of recording "work" is cool but for some reason it does not recognize my blower so it defaults to MOWING but whatever, the data is still the same.

It's fun turning on your phone gps and cut the grass. You can figure how many miles you can go on a tank of gas.

Next project drug into the shop.

    New engine.

    New seat.

    New electric clutch.

Will need a 5/8" spacer to lift the Predator to the correct height.

Will need an adapter hub for the flywheel PTO.

4 new anti scalp rollers for the deck.

Deck will need mounting pins and bushings rebuilt.

    New deck belt.

    New front wheel.

    Control arm dampener cylinders.

Other than that, the machine is a great candidate for a rebuild.

$400 in parts on the way.

Nothing like going all in on something you never saw move under its own power.

Of course I'll have to adapt the wire harness. The Predator engines have a stand alone wire system. Connect the positive and negative cables to a battery and they run.PXL_20220107_143933435.jpg PXL_20220107_152110743.jpg PXL_20220107_162720051.jpg

Is this the same one with the bad holes for the exhaust bolts?

I went back and looked at this again, it you can't fix the bolt holes could you use a pipe tap and thread the port like the older engines were?

I hope it doesn't come to that, but that could be an option.

I'm letting the compound cure thru Sunday before I go after it. :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

Edit:. I believe my epoxy must have froze in transit. It never cured!

I'm glad this job isn't for making money to put food on the table. This tractor is making my nuts ache!

Will try again tomorrow. It's beer thirty.

Fortunately this machine is only going to be used occasionally. The woman that owns it only wants it to run for sentimental reasons. It was her deceased fathers' tractor and she just wants it to be able to move under its own power.

Went out to trench my CR drainage as the county fills it in when they grade my road and then the road drainage goes right down my driveway. Well after a little angle adjustment and weight added things were going smashingly...until it caught a good ol Arkansas pebble. Broke the angling mount. The one that broke it is still underground and may be the size of a truck, the one in the pic is one of many I turned up. I have an old shank that will fit the mount. Just need to weld a tiller tine on it and drill a couple holes and I'll be back in business.

Got the trench dug. There was a basketball sized rock in front of a root ball stabilizing it that broke the hitch. I fixed the middlebuster and eased over the root and grabbed the rock. After I got the rock out I was able to tear the root up easily.

After I dug the trench I mounted my box blade, pulled the sides off of it to make it a straight blade, angled it and smoothed the trench. After that I pulled out the 3240 and used the loader bucket to scoop all the dirt ridges up. I put that dirt in low spots in my field. I love what these little GTs are capable of. I know it takes longer to do tasks but the seat time is fun.

I also did a small trailer project this weekend. I made a couple of flag holders out of conduit with one end hammered flat to bolt to the trailer. I couldn't see it behind my truck.
