Caliche is probably a calcium rich aggregate, so an economy binder for a concrete like finished product? Is the aggregate over sandy soil? I live in the pan-handle of Florida and I am amazed at the local building practices, I would assume San Antonio has similar soil structure, neat to learn different techniques used.

When I moved from ‘Berta to here I thought I knew what dense, impermeable clay was as there were 3 brick’n tile factories there. This is beyond my wildest beliefs. Whole area is sinkin’ or on the move or both. :bikewhoops:

It is an Iseki. No definitive answer of country of origin, but likely Indonesia or Japan.

Edit: will confirm once I take delivery and have a good look and if I can find a stamp on the engine

Nothing at all. Just thought someone might bash MF, but this thread is just too friendly for that :)

Growing up there was a little farm implement store down the road, they sold ag-co and a few others. I always admired the compact MF tractors, would keep the mailers for about a month after they came dreaming of the day I would get one with all the implement attachments. To this day I’m still dreaming :bored:

Shit, I’m right on the border of WI and IL and we’ve only had to plow twice this year. Grass isn’t even covered in most places right now

True story. We have had maybe two snows before this one and each was and inch or less and in typical Ohio fashion, the following days were going to be warm and sunny enough to melt what we got so it wasn't worth my time. Not this time. Had about 1/2-3/4” of sleet and freezing rain then supposed to snow through the night and be below freezing for awhile. I had to get the sleet, or most of it anyway, pushed off before the snow got too deep. It took forever. It was literally like plowing silica balls from a billion desiccant packs. Still got stuck a few times so I'm glad i did and initial plow before we got more snow.

I’ve had to push snow twice already here in N.C. We had snow 3 weekends in a row, last weekend wasn’t enough to push though.

We got about a foot of snow here in NW AR. My aloha won't melt as it's shaded even though it was 40F today up from 4F this morning. I scraped it back then played around plowing a bit. ATV tires and no chains work fine. I'm a total amateur at this as we don't get enough snow to mess with.
