New tie rod is on. Had to loosen the spindle end because the tie rod hit the axle and I couldn’t unscrew the piece that screws in the end without heating it up.

One of the guys on the tractor forum told me I had something coming in the mail. Seems that he worked for a company that sold these and had several. He has his own decal cutter and put my name on it as well. Stunned. This is nicer than anything I'd ever buy for myself. Almost a shame to ever use it--it's too pretty.

    That's a $300 welding lid.

I have actually never used an electronic helmet, I don't weld much (or well really) so I never could justify buying one.

They are really nice for starting welds in the right place and saving your neck from flipping it down

If I used a nice helmet like Steve got it would probably flip me off when it saw my welding.

Morning gang, been quite busy with the move, bought a very small new build house, sold the big house, 5 car and shop.
My oldest boy is graduating at the end of this month, then we have a scheduled overnight visit with the college, then the following week the boys are taking off to Scout camp in NM(no fires are remotely close, hope it remains that way :fingerscrossed:).

Anyways at the farm now and about to get some work done before the heat wave hits us next week.

I'm about to start back up clearing some of my farm land again(USDA grant) gotta reclaim it from South Texas.

P.S. ...some new tractoring stuff is also on order:thumbsup:

You know, there is another forum that awards members with a "You Suck!" Comment when someone scores a great deal or makes a great flip.

Me thinks this may be fitting for one of those.

    Amirite?

Picked up a little ATV winch off of FB market place. $25.

Guy in Lansing had it . Wife wanted to do lunch in Lansing, so that worked.

Mounted it on the front of the trailer. I think I'm gonna spring for the bi directional solinoid with wireless remote. It's only $30 and it will give me power in and out. This one from the factory only has power in, with manual pull out .

Still need to tie in the battery charge line to the battery box from the trailer wire harness junction box.
