One of the guys on the tractor forum hauls a lot and said he loves these. Of course sized to the equipment being hauled. Anyone on here use them?

Some years ago I bought a full set from Auto Hauler Supply and would do business with them again, good service. US made (at the time) at a good price with a wide selection.
The basket or similar lasso straps are fast and easy to deploy and I have never had one come loose.

Car hauler tip: Don't use your lasso or basket straps on a car with studded snow tires -- the studs win -- on the positive it didn't hurt the tire at all... :anonymous:

as you said depends on the weight of the cargo. Good Works Tractor did a video on different tie down options and this would work on a 1 series JD, not sure I would use it on anything bigger, similar to ratchet straps. The orange porn will require chains for sure but for smaller wheeled cargo, I see a benefit to the ease of using them and not finding suitable tie down points.

Although pricey, I do like the Mac tie down set I got as a gift a few years ago. I only use it to tie down the crawler though. Everything else is cheap straps from Home Depot.

I was torn between a gen y and bulletproof hitch. I ended up with a bullet proof hitch and happy with it.

Used my HF Fischer lift to lift the 1000lb XT3 to take off the blades for sharpening. I love this thing.

Those things are the real deal if a person is into maintenance!

On the opposite side of the spectrum, I'm thankful peeps are not into maintenance. We score some killer deals!

I have a lighter one from TSC, works great --- but is a giant thing to store when not in use.

I used to hate sharpening my mower blades b/c of the PITA to get the mower jacked up high enough and I hated taking off the deck. This thing makes it a breeze.
I used to store this one with the cradles on and it ate a ton of floor space. I started taking the cradles and arm off and now it sits fairly compact.

I lost a dog that reached under a bench and dragged one out and ate it. I didn’t know, kid said she saw him eating something by the bench, I knew where I put it. Apparently it wasn’t deep enough (he was determined to eat anything and everything it would seem). Found him laying next to the shed door.
12 years ago, but still feel bad when I think about it.

For sure! I lost a dog to it once as well, my dad put some in a pan in the barn and he got into it. Sad indeed.

    True.

She does the finances. Tells me its worth it to do these mowers. She doesn't bat an eye making a 200 mile trip to have lunch.

    I got it good.

Inteks aren't as well regarded as past Briggs. That being said lack of maintenance (duh) and not keeping them clean leads to, well ...
Head gaskets are a popular failure. I posted the blown connecting rod from one a while back as well. And the valves fail on these.
That being said I have an intek 13.5 single that runs like a champ and makes good power. When I was looking to replace my blown motor, I found an older I/c opposed twin to replace the intek.

For flipping purposes, if it runs and you clean it and do the oil, you'll be fine.
