Parked the mower on top of this copperhead to allow me to go get my shovel.

Hoping I don't get a flat. He was striking the tire like crazy.

Been fortunate enough not to run into one on our property yet. Just waiting for the day. I accidentally sprayed weed and grass killer on a rat snake and baby king snake which ticks me off because I know both of those snakes are good to have. We have hawks and owls that appear to be doing a good job keeping the snake population down.

Yeah I leave all non venomous snakes alone. Those black and kings are good to have around. Here's my buddy who hung around here for years and let me pick him up

This was Pete. Haven’t seen him ever since I accidentally sprayed him.

It ain't that nice. Got some scratches.

I guess this is critter day. I have a female dark fishing spider hanging out by my front door handle. She's as big as a baseball. They aren't harmful to humans but are pretty big. Scared the crap out of the wife.

Same. My wife is getting better though. When we moved to the middle of the woods she couldn’t even kill a spider. Now she takes a shoe and destroys them.

I left this gal alone. She's cleaning up for me. Probably has eaten a bunch of bugs. She's got one back leg curled around behind the trim to hang on with.

Kind of trailer related? So we have a backup generator to our solar (house is off grid and 100% solar/batteries/generator) and it’s been kicking my ass since I moved in. I cannot get it to run reliably and sometimes straight up refuses to start on the auto start like it’s supposed to. So it’s gotta go. What’s a tow behind whisper watt multiquip 15kw worth? About 10000 hours. It starts and runs and works well when I start it off the key, just not off the auto start/controller in my battery room

I then need to replace it with a minimum 40 amp/7kw preferably diesel generator. Neighbor has a kubota lowboy but it’s only 30 amps. Kubota has another lowboy, the gl11000 that meets my needs but seeing if there’s other options before I pull the trigger.
