Do any of you gentleman have experience with a Deere 3020 or Oliver 1850 LP?
We're looking for a tractor to pull either a 10 ft or 15 ft bush hog to cut our airstrip, we're leaning more towards the 10' because it would be useful on more of the property than the 15'.

    There's a 3020 fairly close for $8500
And theres an Oliver 1850LP in Oklahoma for $5K

No more pics really, but I rebuilt the lift cylinder for the little LJ500 skid steer tonight. It still worked well, but I had it off the machine so figured I should take a look inside. It’s the cleanest messy job I’ve done. Covered in oil replacing the seals and packings, but 100% clean of dirt and dust.

Glad I decided to open it up... several of the o rings were worn and some seals were falling apart. Should return full power to the cylinder now.

Tilt cylinder is next, as I KNOW it needs a rebuild.

I can’t help you with your decision but I will say you’ll have better support for the Deere as far as parts goes

I’ve got about 40 left to go. And a few places that hold water to go back on.

How wide is your drill? We don't have big equipment around here, can't get it down the roads. People who raise 100+ acres around here do it spread over different peoples land, sometimes in 3 counties.

Got my decals on finally. The bottom one is a 3240 "40th Anniversary Edition" front bumper decal--maybe the only 3240 specific decal still available.

Here’s the stabilizer chains I made for the bush hog. I welded a stud to my ROPS because I couldn’t get the top brackets to the toplink pin like they should be on this Ford. They work great!

Saturday I was hauling the 140 I recently bought new back tires for that I haven't put on yet. A guy I know (captain obvious, we all know him) walks over and says something about all the cracks in the tires. I said I have new ones I just haven't gotten them on yet. He says "those are fine until one bust". I just stood there for a second then said "you have a valid point".
