Went with Kenda “Loadstar” Karrier in ST225/75R15 which is a radial tire.

Yeah I won’t trailer anywhere near that distance.

Anybody run those balance beads? Could always drop those in if it seems to help

I run airsoft beads in my 35's I use for serious off-road wheeling. Starting is always a little rough, but once the wheels get turning, the beads spread out and give a decent ride. I used the little beads the first time I tried balancing my wheels with them, but the big wheels needed too much to be balanced, so I switched to airsoft bb's the second time around. For a trailer, they would probably work ok, but you're probably splitting hairs at what the beads cost vs what a tire shop would want to balance the tires. I'm certainly in the camp that says smoother is better and would rather have the trailer tires balanced.

Waiting on a new ignition switch, basically a 3P, plug n play part, if it does not provide constant power it shuts down the tractor, an ever slight touch/jiggle of the key switch and you lose dash lights as well, I'm really hoping this is the issue!!

From what I read online, contacts behind the switch go bad or get really gummed up, it's a known issue with Kuboters, ordered a China one for $38 vs dealer $107.

I gots the same trouble with these commercial Toro mowers.

There needs to be constant 12v from the switch to the carb gas solinoid. Switch goes bad, no power to keep the gas solinoid open and you run out of gas.

With said, it remarkable how far you can go with the float bowl full of fuel.

Before I got the ZT I mowed with an old (1974) Ford garden tractor with a Kohler K series and a gravity fuel tank. I ran it for years all over the property (14 acres, none flat) and never ran out of gas once because it would always courteously give a cough before it ran out.

The ZT has a fuel pump -- it doesn't give a warning cough.

I discovered this at 1 am 4/10 of a mile down the road from the house. :frusty:

It was a beautiful night, all uphill to get to the house though.
I had finished the lawn and was mowing the edges of my dead end dirt road to keep it tidy.

When I worked life was about cramming as much into each day as possible so I used to mow at night often, beats the heat too, the nearest neighbor is 1/4 mile away.

10hour interval service done, with new cabin air filter and new seat cover. Durafit seat cover, made in Texas, bit of PITA to install with air ride seat, but managed.

Since I burned off a lot of brush piles, looks like I had a mouse/rat explore the inside of the engine compartment. I park the equipment over those mothball bags, looks like I need to add something else in addition to keep the critters away. I probably need to feed the farm cats some treats near the equipment carport, to help out with the extra critters.

If it doesn’t already have one, See if there is an inner secondary filter available for that machine, replace it every other time you replace the outer. Never blow out an inner filter. I see a lot of machines that could have been saved if they had an inner filter ( trying to get people to actually install them is another trick )

It has one, it's just slightly dusted, cab door stays shut 99% of the time, I will keep an eye on it though.

That looks like the same array the commercial mowers use.

Pretty common in construction and industrial to have an inner secondary, it’s a tighter weave, but a backfire or blowing them out will destroy the fiber mesh.
I work on forklifts, in a variety of environments, “operators” are some of the worst about blowing filters out, usually with wet air which completely wastes the media on any filter. They believe they are “helping” when the reality is they’re doing more harm than good in a lot of cases. 3 dusted engines last year, guess shop guys need work too….

I was not aware of the " wet air" back flow clean could be detrimental .

I'll let " my friend" know this is not a good practice.:anonymous:

Yeah the inner air filter, (not cabin) I usually clean it every other time, it actually doesn't get very dirty at all compared to the outter air filter, holy cow that air filter can get nasty, I bet I removed a half pound of dirt out of there once.
