I found this by googling CRX engine... https://www.mpwsr.com/post/motorshortage
The 2.3gpm rating seems on the low side to me, but I guess it depends on what to want to use it for.

    Simpson is a reputable brand.

From what I have read, pressure washers fall into 3 loose categories:

Consumer - consumer grade engine (not worth rebuilding) and pump (not repairable)
Pro-sumer - will have a commercial grade engine OR pump - one or the other, not both
Commercial - will have both commercial grade engine AND pump (both rebuildable)

FWIW, home owner pressure washers usually die from freezing/rust/ neglect -- Just like snow blowers the engine failures are generally from neglect rather than wearing out.

    SOLD my SST18 $300

I just don’t have the time and space to tinker anymore kind of sad but I’ve reached a point in my life where I would rather have stuff that works right without fuss than more stuff for less money.:rofl:
Glad to have the driveway space, now on to the organization garden and shed and garage. With the cooler temps I need to get all my attic projects done.

The gpm is probably low for today's standards, but my old PW was 2700psi/2.3gpm. So this would be a slight upgrade. Though this is certainly a light-duty unit.

Thanks, if you haven't heard of them either, I won't feel like an idiot.

I'm probably going to buy it, but leave it in the box until after BlackFriday. Just in case I find a better deal. I do really like the pneumatic tires, everything around my place is gravel or grass. I also like the increase in engine size, 208cc vs 173cc, the extra 400psi might be useful for cleaning the deck and propane tank. For $220 after tax, I think it will fit my basic needs. The new engine manufacturer has me a little concerned. I rarely buy the extended warranty, but I'm considering it this time. I'd rather have another B&S, Honda, or a Kohler, but I don't need a commercial grade for my personal use, and I'm not willing to spend $400+ on a new PW at this time.

I always wanted one of those small 4wd Kubota tractors, the BX series. Well I got to use one tonight to dig a hole to bury a cat. With the backhoe attachment, rocks and 2” diameter roots would stop all progress in digging the hole. I can tell now if I ever get a small tractor, it will be bigger than the BX series.

My opinion will be a vote for commercial electric unit. Mine is portable, but I have enough hose to reach about anywhere I need to use it around the house without moving it.

With that said, that looks like a rebuildable triplex plunger pump with one of the many Honda clone engines that are becoming popular. You won't have to rebuild it

I've had mine 25 years and I have never rebuilt mine, just oil changes.

I bought it Sunday and put it in the storage room until after black Friday. Just in case I find a better deal, I can always return this one. I was lucky to get this one, though. I hadn't had it on my cart for 30 seconds before another guy walked up and asked where I got the PW; he was looking for the same one. I told him he'd have to ask if they had any more in the back because I'd taken the last one on the shelf. If I'd been a minute later, I'd have been the one shit out of luck. I'd already checked Sunday morning, and it was out of stock on the website, only available for purchase in the store.

Well looks like we are getting a tractor in the next few days.

    a Kioti Ck2610HB (24.5hp compact).

Comes with the front loader and we are picking up a brush hog and back blade for it as well. Sadly not much in the way of used stuff close by and what is out there comes down to the old "buy new or buy used and spend the difference in fuel" dilemma

Mostly going with kioti just for the dealer. Nearest Kubota or Deere dealer are a good 60+ miles away vs the Kioti is all of 5 miles away.

Never did check if they was real. Sent them back.

Got my refund today...which worked out good.

I'm in COVID jail, but I got a call yesterday, a guy wants to buy this present ZT project once I finish it.

I'm fine now, just staying out of circulation to play it safe.

    Thank, you!

My son and I were watching Modern Marvels the other day and they were at a JCB plant. It got us to searching stuff and they have this compact loader and backhoe.

And they make a skidsteer with side entry, how cool would that be? I don't know how many times I needed to get out of the one I had and with the bucket half way up it was a challenge. If it had air it would have been impossible to open the door.

I never have liked the one arm on JCB equipment though.

Granted they are older machines but it just seemed to me they were problematic especially with age
