"finished" putting together the crispy critter mower, except I don't know where this part goes.

It was sitting on the footrest area just like you see in the picture.

I can find nowhere on the unit where it should go.

I included the model number if anyone what's to do some sleuthing.PXL_20230425_135655692.jpg PXL_20230425_135643933.jpg PXL_20230423_233010802.jpg

BTW: it's a flexible plastic material.

Maybe a heat shield? Looks like it's notched to go around the frame.

First mow after the work. I'll say it's about 85% better. My yard is pretty darn bumpy, so it's never going to be 100% level. I did have to loosen and use some Loctite on that jamb nut. It already worked one thread loose. Not anymore, but future me will be pissed...

Same. Just assumed it came with the territory. Didn't think it needed mentioned.

Finished up the fire damaged Exmark.

Very little damage to the wiring.

I ran it for an hour or so cutting my neighbor and my lawn. No issues except I'm sure I have a main jet blockage.

I have to run the choke closed a tad for the engine to run smooth.

Pretty common for engines that were stored with no fuel treatment for a couple years. It usually works itself out after a couple tanks of gas.

Regardless, this unit feels like a brand new mower.

Let the low ballers hit me up. I got no issue telling them no.

My for sale vid if anyone cares...

same here man. and mine is mostly side hill. effed my knee up now and im considering dumpimg topsil to compensate. 500$ for dirt....and less mowing or...something much more costly. i do mine with walk behind.

I was going to do something like that, but within the next 5 years I have to get the entire septic system replaced. Due to the way the soil drains in the area I'll have to go with a sand mound drain field so the entire back yard layout will change drastically. So the yard will get flattened out with a drop off at the edge like the side of the house. Gonna suck on that part as I'll have to push mow that section.

will do on the pix.... think they are on my other com.

like you guys said above: my yard is "bumpy"== rough. the easiest way to put it is : we dont have a "lawn". we have a yard.

some of my neighbors are lawn Nazi's. the fertilize, aerate, measure blades of grass, roll, sweep, crosscut & pattern mow.

uh no. i cut grass. 5acres of bumpy, rough, bare spots, dips, critter holes, steep angles & lots of trees.
