I can mow the entire front yard on two 6Ah batteries, and the second battery still has 1/2 charge when finished.

 

I’ve already been told the seed has to go elsewhere as she doesn’t want mice in the garage. Neither do I frankly. I’ll have the garage baited from now on and the seed in a safe container

 

The latest one was extra bad smelling. I opened up the shop doors and could immediately smell it
Also apparently one of those bastards was stealing my sticky traps. I found 2 traps behind one of those cabinets.

i really enjoy knowing success in this. about to set another one.

 

i use one that fits on a 5gal bucket. looks like a red suwoofer venturi. put peanut butter and oatmeal on the ledge. then when they fall in its how long you swim. works great big and small.

I have the one that is the teeter totter to their death. Probably killed about 6 that way. I need to replace the peanut butter on it.

How do you politely tell the new neighbor that you have never met to mow their ditch?

 

Need to swipe some county stationary and leave a note.

You offer to take care of it and then borrow their machine to move the driveway gravel you needed?

 

He is the first house on the street and has never waved back and I make it a point to wave every-time I pass by. He only has a ZT, so no use in the tractor department.

 

i stand corrected. a man thats too proud to wave at a neighbor is fully denied tractor benefits. article 1-f-u.

 

He must be a transplant from up north; you can almost expect it... But Southerner that doesn't wave back in the South is just unheard of.

 

odd thing i found working on an island in washington. everyone waves if you dont appear to run them over walking. its really cool in the less than warm pnw.

 

The weather in PNW isn't always the warmest, but around Puyallup, people were generally friendly and lots of people waved. But here in the South, at least out in the country, damn near everyone waves.

& i feel your pain.

and a neighbor who dont wave at ya or at least give a head nod? that aint a neighbor. thats just someone who lives near by.
we live in a rural setting & my closest neighbor & me wave from our tractors to each other every day. If weather sucks for more than a day or 2 to where we cant get out? we throw a text.

funny enough my neighbors consist of :
East side (we share fence)= great guy, Vietnam Veteran, retired & used to be the county commissioner
West side (about 1500' away)= a family colony with 4 trailers on 1 property, 9 kids & no mufflers on anything or one.
North side(we share fence)= corporate beef farm with 400 heads
South side(we share fence)= nice family with 4 kids. investment types.

 

The area of southeast KY where we moved to last year, we're about 4 miles out of town. Wide open country. Our street is barely wider than one vehicle, so whenever you have to pass someone going the other way, you each [usually] end up going partway off the pavement and into the grass. That's if both drivers are polite. In the 5 months we've been in our house, I have seen about 20% of other drivers I have to pass, don't slow down, and they just keep coming right down the middle of the road. And these don't wave back. I always wave when I pass another driver on our street. Almost all of those that slow down and move to the side to share the road, also wave.

I already had "traded" my CA license plates for KY while we were still at our rental place in town, so no one out here ever saw my truck with "outsider" plates, otherwise I would think the few unfriendly drivers didn't like me because of that. But even in the South, there are just some unfriendly people.
