It's not bad at all. For $50, I thought why not. I was gonna get a Dewalt powered grease gun, but figured I would try the cheaper option first. It works better than a old school grease gun, but I bet the purpose made powered guns have better ergonomics. I did find that a small 12v powered screwdriver works better and is lighter than my 18v stuff attached to it.

I did put an EZ quick connect jobber on it as well, but I kinda prefer the normal grease adapter as the EZ clip one tends to leak unless you hold it which totally defeats the purpose.

Best part of the powered gun is it pretty much self primes. Easily worth the $50.

wouldnt it be nice to have an led light strip displaying pressure? then we coulud not over-do grease fittings.

Yeah. I tend to go very slow with it in comparison to the ones I hear online just to try and not overgrease stuff. I wouldn't mind a clear, see through hose either I guess.

Over-greasing bearings is quite common in industrial settings.
Excess grease makes bearings run hot as the grease is churning around in there.
You can spot it with a thermal camera.

Some industries use vibration analysis when greasing, with the testing equipment the tech can "hear" when the optimal amount of grease has been added.

When vehicles had grease fittings on ball joints & tie rod ends it was common for people to blow the boots or seals by adding too much grease, especially when the garage used an air powered grease gun like the one below.

I ordered another base gasket yesterday for $44, I don't want to chance reusing it and have to pull it back off for a leak.

Exactly my situation. I have excess old 12v dewalt stuff lying around and always have 18v dewalt stuff in my truck due to my job. If my $50 option fails, Dealt gun is my next stop.

I just use the 12v on my grease gun since it is lighter.

I had been wanting one for a while but didn't want to pay $200+ for one, when I saw it was marked down I got it, it's a nice investment

Made a new mulching system for my Scag ZT :anonymous:. It actually did okay on the light leaf cover I have now and did especially well on shredding pine needles.

Leaves are just starting to fall here in S Indiana. I can use this briefly until they really start to come down. They get so deep in my yard I windrow them with backpack blower and use Agri-Fab pull behind with my JD LT.

Over the course of 3-4 weeks, between my yard and my parents next door I'll pick up 35-40 Agri-Fab loads. Amazing how much better the grass is since I started doing this when I moved here 6 years ago.

I have an old pond area that I'm filling with limbs and leaf debris.

couple of things going on.... got that big sycamore down yesterday & then spent the next several hours grinding that stump out & fixing the yard up. took a lot of passes as the base of the tree was right at 4' .... then the stump had huge roots & ground crawlers on it. when it was all finished? hand an area about 12'x 20' all ground up & dug up. back drug it all, rolled it in with the tractor. still felt soft. so went & got the excavator out & track walked it all in. came out good. i know its the wrong season, but threw some sticky hay & seed down anyway. was an open bundle & it doesnt store good over the winter.

got 3 more regular size stumps to do this morning. 1 is a 3' ashe that should take about half an hour. the other 2 are only about a foot each & will only take 10 minutes each.

yesterday on that big Syca i broke 2 pins, a steady link, 3point bolt...... thats what happens when you try to take too big of a bite with the grinder & dont get out of it quick enough. my own fault for not being patient. which means you have to do the repairs & not complain about it. good news is this design breaks bolts & not the actual grinder. good thinking on their part!

now lets get back at it.

Hopefully I can get it back together this afternoon. I went to the local mower shop and they had the gasket in stock $7 cheaper than Amazon. Guess I’ll hang the other one up when it comes in for future use.

Ok so I have a 2300w peak 1800w running inverter generator.
    Symptoms:
Runs great until put into MAX mode or load applied. Then dies immediately. 123volts AC on the plug outlet 145volts on the feed to the inverter at “normal” idle.

Engine does not have a problem idling or running WOT.

Do you think the inverter is damaged or the throttle control or something else? It never tries to idle up just dies.

im no expert but i would try turning inverter shaft if possible. by your description it sounds like the issue.
