only 3-4' tall to make a flat spot for a future shop. then need a tractor to rebuild for fun. that goofy v mound the builder made was useless. now its spare parking for the guests i never have. now dumptrucks can drive straight through. 17082896176271173003839536152074.jpg

Sorry was playing entertainer to house guest, and just saw this. The CL Post was deleted, so it is likely been sold already. But my 2¢ for future consideration. As Tiedie & Skd said, the hours are reasonable, anything avg <100yr is reasonable to me. But it has turf tires which are great for mowing and driving on-road, but poor for traction off-road. Changing tires out is not cheap for a tractor. It has an aftermarket front loader, which I'd prefer a correct FL for the manufacture. Having rear remotes is a real nice to have for adding 3-pt hydro toplink. I think the price was a bit high for a '07 Kioti with a couple deficiencies, but a quick search for other used tractors have them advertised in the high teens. From the sellers perspective you won't get it if you don't ask for it. The DK line is a step up in size from what SKD and I have and a couple levels up in power. Probably more than you need, but it would lift a lot.

Here's a quick search run I did. You can change up the values to suit yourself. I wouldn't be brand loyal to any one manufacture looking for a used tractor, but I would look for something that is still being made or has parts availability support from a reputable manufacture.

To help with the self-education youtube is a good place to spend a few hours. Look at video's by Tractor Mike or Tractor Time with Tim. They are both sources of info about tractors, buying and using them.
These are a couple of good starter videos.

Both great to score some deals...and see people get "bidding fever" and spend more than it would cost to buy new

Going to try to get on the B7100 today and finish pulling up the hog pen footers and foundation today and maybe start grading for grass seed and look at burning the brush pile there too.

I called a quarry in Stokesdale, N.C. last week and a ton of #57 is $45. I did some math and there's no way I can haul it myself and come out cheaper.

I called a local company near the house and they said they'd deliver 20 tons of asphalt millings for $350. I'm gonna try a load and see how it holds up.

These are fantastic for a driveway base.... Super cheap if you can get them. Roll em in or compact them down.

Usually the problem is that you cant find them when you want them & then cant get away from piles of them when you don't need them.

The other thing is the left over millings from steel/ore. This stuff is fantastic for bases as well.

Taking that route thru Hickory was the answer. Saved me dealing with those 15 stop lights in Shelby.

BTW it was fun as hell running thru the mountains after dark! No traffic at all and no one climbing your ass!

Hahaha your right. I just don't think about taking pictures while working. I will try to get something up here in the next day or so. I have a pile of concrete and stone from the footers and foundation. And burned most of the brush pile. I even knocked down a small black walnut tree.

That's the only way I go to CLT. Just as fast but just a little farther.
