Depends on how far gone it is, you can patch them with sheet metal and stretch the life a tad longer.

    Caroline's. Rust Bond

Our painters use this in the plant.
It seals, stops, prevents rust. It's hard to even drill thru, dries super smooth slick. Lasts for many years on the bottom of mower decks & bush hogs.

You can put a good epixy paint right over it.

Done several mower decks & hogs with it. Never had it wear thru.

They have them. Never seen one in person but watched variouse youtube videos cause its interesting. Seems like most of them you bury a electric fence showing the roomba mower where not to go be it the property line, a garden, tree, play set, other. The roomba mower can only cut off a little bit as the motor does not have high torque and basically has spinning razor blades for cutting. It covers the same area every two or three days so it doesn't get to high, this means for a much larger property the mower may be running 12 hours every day. A lot depends on who installs the electrical bounded fence, pro installers know how tight of curves to make and how much room to leave around obstacles. They don't leave a pretty manicured lawn with nice straight lines as they kind of wander all around just like a roomba does.
I could see them becoming more popular with people not in the city who have large properties that they just need kept from overgrowing.

I got a similar one for about the same price a few years ago. It’s amazing the things that you find to scope now. Found an exhaust leak on my outboard using it earlier this year. Also found an excuse to replace the anode rod in my water tank just so I could scope it. The neighborhood didn’t think free colonoscopies was a good idea though

I got tagged, so here you go :)

Farm Tractor 1966 Ursus C-328, The model says it is the the third variant of Tractor by Ursus factory, 28 horse power. 2-cyl diesel engine, water cooled. 3-speed forward 1 reverse transmission and transfer case (which makes it total 6 speed forward, an2 reverse).
Registered and road legal. This is when I bought it:

    upload_2024-11-11_14-40-31.png

Original body parts are gone, the previous owner put body from C-330, which was the later model. By the way the funny part is that 328 and 330 have very similar engine and 330 gained 2 HP just because they raised the max rpm from 2500 to 2800rpm.

After I bough it I did some repairs of stuff that did not work (like rebuilding the entire pneumatic system), replacing leaking seals and of course change all fluids. I have also added the original cabin, so I can have some roof over my head (soft top). Here is how it stands now:

    upload_2024-11-11_14-51-44.png

Among many cool and simple (almost primitive) solutions in that machine is a speedometer.

    upload_2024-11-11_14-54-17.png

The needle is a ful diameter of the dial (like a compass needle). The top arc shows rpm, the bottom shows the speed. Six arcs at the bottom show the speed at each gear. All driven just from the engine rpm.

Speaking of simplicity, the pneumatic in this tractor is used only for brakes in attached trailer. So if trailer is not attached there is no need to run a compressor. Factory manual says to disconnect compressor you just remove a v-belt going to it. As simple as that.

So I picked up my Stump Bucket this afternoon from the Fastenal location a few miles from where I live. CRI ships with Blue Line Freight, and if you can pick up at Fastenal (which is somehow associated with Blue Line) the shipping is "free". Woulda been another $225 to have it delivered to my house .
Looks really nice! Got it too late in the day though to really do anything with it. Maybe tomorrow.. :)

Alrighty we now have our own pressure washing station, took a little time but we got it together and after starting 2 hours later we got 6 bundles of pipe cleaned up. I hope today we get more.

Well... woke up to 60% rain chances today, along with a steady drizzle to prove the 60% outlook correct.
So... NO STUMP BUCKET PICTURES TODAY. :annoyed:

But here's a pic of my inside project that I finally started about a week ago. Getting the TV mounted and the audio system hooked up.. after procrastinating for 15 months since we moved here . . .

    20241110_120717.jpg

I haven't yet figured out a way to use my existing center channel speaker. But there is a recessed speaker in the ceiling directly in front of the fireplace. I need to pull the grill off and see what it actually is to determine if it's suitable.

It goes on like runny snot... But man does it get hard.

They coat all the beams in the chemical plant with it then battleship gray epixy paint over it.

Makes the bottom of your mower deck pretty slippery.
