yours mounts a bit different than mine does. mine has little clips on the top & slides right on, then just has a bolt on either side. what width is that one? (mines 60")

yes they are quite "mean"... you can clear brush/briars real friggin quick.

Call me lazy, but I would think that you would have to spend a lot of time pulling brush and such off each bolt too?!? I dunno, I don't have any experience with this type as I also have the bar that attaches on the sides with a bolt and the face of the bar is flat and smooth with nothing protruding.

I got the "Pro" model (not because I'm a Pro) because my bucket already had a flat bar that was drilled with 10 holes along the bottom of the bucket. This one ~should~ bolt right on to replace the flat bar.
As far as the "teeth".... when you look at the pictures on the BXpanded site almost every picture is different as far as the cutting edge goes. The length of this one is 66.75", the same as the flat bar it replaces.

For anyone interested, this is a pretty good deal.

The same model tractor CK3510SE I bought for $21K, 7 years ago, today for $23.5k or 329mo. Adjusting for inflation it's a few thou less than I paid, that's an awesome deal.

Yeah I've got factory bolt on cutting edge... Mine slides over it.
Nothing wrong with what you have. It's just a bit different from the same people. Will grab ya a pic head on of mine next time out there.

I installed it, but didn't have time to try it out.. :(
Right after the install it was time (3pm) to go out for the afternoon ball session with Boxer (the Weimaraner). :) :)
Then immediately following that it was out to mow the "Back Forty"..
But here are some pics. I don't know why it is shifted a quarter inch to the driver side.... my measurements I gave them or their fubar..:confused: And I did have to ream out 4 of the holes a bit, but that wasn't too bad since the bar's holes are countersunk.. I just had to drill a smidgen of the thin part under the base of the bolt head.

Are those nuts threaded on far enough? Why is that thing offset to one side?

The shift is either an error in the measurements I gave them, or an error on their part. I haven't had time yet to try to find out. The nuts are about flush with the end of the bolts. I ~may~ be able to get another half turn or full turn if I set my impact on full blast. One of the measurements they ask for is the bucket thickness where the holes are, so I assume the BXpanded people expect the fit to be flush.

I got the belt routed in the right way, then tried to do something about the broken bolt. I'm going to have to make a hole on the side of the frame to pass the new bolt through, I'm not dropping the transaxle to get to it.

I could also cut back that casting where the bolt goes through, it looks like it only has to catch the housing to the metal mount that loops back to the frame.

Does the off set move to the other end if you flip the bar?

    You asking me??? :confused::confused::confused:
I was working by myself. The Bar weighs about 70 pounds. :militarypress:
In September 2023 I developed a recurrence of the double hernia that I had surgery for in 2017. :annoyed:
I keep putting off another surgery cuz I can't find a "good" time to do it. :anonymous:

And if swapped end-for-end then the straight edge will be facing forward.. that's what I already had with the original bar.

And it can't be "flipped over" because then the countersunk holes on the bar are on the wrong side... :boink:

So... the answer is I need to wait until I measure it . . . :hattip:

I was just trying to off a diagnostic regarding the hole placement on the bucket vs the hole placement on the new bar.

for 1/4 inch, it's not worth going to a lot of troubles to find out something that could be ascertained with a tape measure.
I believe that bar will do all it's designed to do in SPITE of that 1/4 inch!

    ;-)

I know you were just offering a suggestion. The 1/4" is not a big deal, but it's STUPID... whether it was my measurement or their error. I do have a record of all the numbers I sent them on their order specification sheet. It may be next week until I really get time to measure.

It’s unprofessional and I’d be inquiring with BxPanded about which pot head punched this thing out on a Friday afternoon.

Well my Friday went ok??? First thing I weed wacked around the house side of the creek. Then mowed, plowed the garden with the new box blade and tilled it too.
Then lunch:hungry:. That's when things took a turn. Went out to change out the master cylinder on the BMW motorcycle. Had to remove more than anticipated, wait no I didn't :goingcrazy:. Anyways the master cylinder was nasty inside but it wasn't my issue. Next up brake caliber rebuild both sides o_O. Already watched yt video, I got this. Parts ordered and shipped ✓. Today is weed whacking the other side of the creek where the shop is and mowing. Then motorcycle oil change and drive shaft, final drive, tranny gear oil replacement.
    Busy schedule today :D.
Hope everyone has a good and safe day today.
