This is a cool thread. I have a Kubota BX25D. It has a backhoe, mid mount mower, and front end loader. My family has 7+ acres. I use it to mow, move firewood, snow plow, and endless other random tasks. It isn't a big tractor, but it does everything I need it to.

    Not well...
I think that the wheelbase was only like 6 feet, but that's wheel hub to wheel hub. You'd have a lot hanging off both ends because the tractor as a whole is like 10 feet long. And I'm pretty sure that they're at least 5 feet wide, too.

And that's IF the trailer could handle the weight, lol. I know that an 8n with fluid in the tires weighs right around 2 tons, and the 9n is pretty similar dimensionally so I can't imagine it'd be too much lighter.

Too far to drive it, I'm assuming?

Aha. Good reason not to try driving it, then...That's a long way to push.

Regular 6x12 U-haul should handle it fine. Are the tires loaded?

It has a clutch, but you can shift between gears, even F to R, without the clutch. I like it. I always use the clutch when taking off, but rarely after that. I also use it forward to reverse, but not required.

So you could load it either forwards or backwards, then. If they were loaded it could be iffy either way; if you loaded it facing backwards too much tongue weight for a Tacoma, and facing forwards not enough. But if they're not loaded then you could load it facing as far forward as possible and the weight of the engine would load the tongue properly.

It really smoothed out the ride on our tractor, and you can pick up three round bales now. We like filling tires cause it takes the weigh off the tractor and puts it on the ground where it belongs, only sucks when you puncture a tire.

Here she is a few years ago on snow removal duty without the MMM. Haven't had to move any snow this year at all.

Couple years ago I had a piece of I-beam and decided to make a one point hitch yard tool with it. Had my buddy powdercoat it.

Needed a battery box lid and front for this Cub so I made them out of a piece of pitted material to match the rest of the battery box. When the primer dries it should match the rest of the battery box with the pitting.

Ford 1700, I believe it's a '79 model. Got totally submerged in Katrina, and it was well over a month before we could service it. Flushed all the fluids, new batt/alt/starter, and pulled the injectors and turned it over to squirt all the water out. That's all it took to get it running again and has been mostly trouble free since.
