With $5,000 you could supercharge the 4.0... just saying.:burnrubber:

I have had 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gen and prefer the 3.5 over anything. It has far more pickup than the previous two, and the tech is far superior. So many 2nd gen owners talk shit on the 3.5 and it’s dumb, 3rd gen has more HP and same torque. They are all great trucks. OP I would wait for the 2020 for apple car play and power seats.

How true. Yet they they can get in that 15 year old designed interieor every day, all day. Barney Rubble is riding shotgun. I couldn't take it. And they worry about a grill ? Hilarious.
    Sounds like an excuse imo.

Considering they won’t even buy a third gen, but will waste time on this forum.

I must be the most boring person in the world... Einstein once said "those who understand compound interest earn it, those who don't pay it". I will paint this picture with broad strokes. Unless you are 65 and retired, hit the Powerball, or the 2015 is ready to die... Save your money. Shiny and new will be replaced next year with shiny and new in the market. My 2015 is paid off and has retained it's value. I paid $31k for it and I see them selling for $25k pretty regularly. That is a huge win in the depreciation category. Inflation has arrived and things are getting pretty pricey here lately. Make sure your retirement is maxed out for 2019 before you do anything. The younger you are the longer that money has to work for you. Debt is not your friend. What interest rate are you looking at? Do you own a house? How's your debt load? How much is owed if you do own a house? If you can pass the financial stress test and all of your shit is in line, then do what you want with your money. I hate to sound like everyone's dad, but this big booming economy ain't gonna last forever. Millenials never felt that last recession in 2008. "to best predict the future, look further into the past"

I dont know about @Unchained 5150 but Barney and I are counting our Benji’s because we know our 4.0 2nd gen Rubble-Mobiles are going 500k plus and we can save to send some kids to college or help others move out of Aunt Helga’s basement.

The 3rd gen dash is undeniably cleaner and more modern, but my 2012 dash isn't hideous by any means.

And who buys a vehicle for the dash?

Same person here that doesn't because of the grill, lol.
I wouldn't buy a vehicle with a shi* interior and live with it for 10 years.
It will be a 1/4 of a century old in design soon.
