I understand that math isn't everyone's strong point.

    But 2005+25 = 2030
    2030-2019 = 11

The 2005 dash won't be a quarter of a century old for 11 more years.

Furthermore, someone as smart as you must realize the interior was changed in 2012. That won't be a quarter of a century old until 2037. That's 18 years.

I bought my 15 because of what they did to the 3rd gen, I'll leave it at that. I'd say keep your 2nd gen

Sales are swamping what 2nd gen ever were. Exponential. What does that say ?
Why does the word relic come to mind here ?
    I'll leave it at that.

Dude what in the actual fuck are you talking about? You are equating sales numbers with superiority? Are you retarded?

According to your logic the F-150 has been the most reliable, best performing vehicle for 40 some odd years.

Seatbelt Mike says that sales of the Tacoma have always been limited by lack of production, so far he is correct as since he was able to get the facilities to crank out more Tacoma's, the sales have increased.

As soon as the dealerships got their big shipment in of 2016 Tacomas, I went shopping and got a brand new 2015 TRD OR for 31K with a sticker of 36K. I would wait until the 2020 are fresh at the dealerships and go haggle for a great price on the 2019.

Nothing like being pinched in the crushing grip of logic eh asshat? Keep squirming. It's fun to watch.

I will stick with my 2012. Outdated interior and all.

Keep squirming! Your frame is identical, 3rd gens will rust just the same as time goes on.

Mine is mint because I live in a salt free area. It will probably out last yours. Let's check in 10 years. Until then you're not worth listening to. Ignored!

20+ year Tacoma driver here. I had three 2nd gens and one 3rd gen. I hated the 3rd gen and got rid of it after 3 months. I hated driving it on the interstate. Couldn't hold 6th gear (sometimes not even 5th if it was windy). And MPG at 75-80mph was much better in my 2nd gens.

At 80mph I would look to a sport car not a freakin midsize truck.
Ummmh thats not what a truck is designed for ya know.
I don't even worry about mpg actually. It is what it is.
I got rid of my 2nd cause it couldn't keep the speed on a grade like 3rd did. 18% more hp in 3rd. 2nd bogged down.
    Gauntlet test shows that factually.
