Anyone have some tan buckets and a center console they want to trade for my 60/40’s? My seats have been reupholstered and recushioned. I’m located in Lake Elsinore CA IMG_4430.jpg

    Like buckets for bench
    that trade might happen

Not impossible for your trade but cash would definitely need to be in the equation from the bench seat owner

i.e. not many owners want bench seats, especially if they have buckets/center console

I have same seats as you BTW!!!!!

Have seen the trade happen quite a bit though, just talked to a guy on Facebook who has a pair of clean buckets and is looking for the 60/40’s. He unfortunately had the grey interior though so it didn’t work out

    Incredible!
    Screw It!!

I would make that trade and roll grey and tan NP

    hell man
Check out 1st gen For Sale threads
Dude on there selling what seems to be everything from gray Xtra cab interior wise.
Like has multiple pix of a 15’ x 20’ area of all trim interior panels!!

IMO I would do that trade 110%
especially if logistics are good (close)

I was really debating it, but the grey trim and center console would honestly really bug me. I also saw his post, if he had a tan center console I would go do the trade rn! Haha

    Well
    Look/find tht thread (FS )

‘I’ would get over the color thing(I think lol)

    think of it like this
I have driven with a cracked windshield (like Charlotte’s Web shit) for years when I was in college in POS car(couldn’t afford new w/s)
I can state I got over/got used to that over time
The difference is you and passenger will be plush in buckets!!
    Give and Take brother!
    Hell of a deal also

How close is the fabric to the original? Might be willing but would have to ask my son. Bench seats are nice to have. He gets home in 30 minutes. His seats are super clean.

Just out of curiosity - when you got the 60/40 reupholstered the shop had the tan 1st gen fabric on hand?

I had my tan bench done earlier this year, my upholsterer could find tan fabric but not gray. It’s still out there. I made sure to buy extra for when it eventually runs out
