    You can go a long way with a Miata and still be street capable/comfortable, perform very well in SoloII, and run HPDE as well. By merely changing wheels/tires/brake pads you can go into SoloI and still revert to street if you wish. Making the move to a full track rat means loosing street comfort.

    I guess what I'm saying is that a well selected Miata, with the right modifications, can be an economical fair weather street commuter and a weekend barrel of monkeys fun, w/o having to go trailer-ized. So, you could have a number of years of transportation/fun and still just ease into the 'I need to tow it' world later. If that's where you decided you wanted to land.

    Mine with R package trim bits, Hard Dog frame mounted bar, custom spec'd Tein Flex, 15"x7" 7# forged wheels, sticky tires, big front sway, rear sway delete. All accessories fully functional, drove it from Florida to PA where this pic was taken. :thumbsup:
