Can you put the $150 a month towards a 401K or rainy day fund. Do not piss away money on trading a practically new truck (12k miles) trade to brand new truck for money that will fund you in retirement. Pay yourself now in investments for the future.

A little late for that but thanks anyway :) I retired 8 years ago by the way . My retirement income is pretty good also. I started saving long time ago, probably before you were born but I appreciate you thinking of me :)

Ironically many of these same people will drop $4k on a lift that does nothing to increase their resale value. Your 72. You’re entitled to enjoy a few luxuries in life. Congrats on the new truck.

    A few.
Thats something that had to be ordered? Sounds like its a truck dealers would have on there lot or at least could do a dealer trade to get quickly.

13 months have passed and still loving the truck. I just have not used it much since all that has happened. The speedometer just hit 3000 miles. If I had to update anything on these trucks it would be head room when getting in the truck. Not for tall people for sure

2020’s have a ridiculous price increase over the 2019s, at least for the base models

My truck will be four years old in five months. So far I have only 7060 miles on it. I bought it thinking we might travel more but that never happened. Its still got the new smell to it and from looking at posts here I do think I made the right move back in 2019. Who knew all these things were going to happen in the car and truck market way back in 2019. Not such a weird thing to do as one poster told me when I posted back in 2019 I was going to trade. :)

My truck is officially four years and two months old. I now have 8020 miles on it. Still has the new smell and is showroom clean. I drove it a few times this summer but not much as you can see from my last post. I have been offered more than I paid for it. What a weird thing I did in June of 2019. lol
