    kbb has my truck valued at 11,000... seems low... or maybe it just sounds worse because i still owe $19,000 for it (bought it used for like $20,500 or so a few years ago and cashed out some equity about a year ago). It just seems weird that the trade value is soooooo much less than its actual value.

    $16,256.00 Is the trade in value for my 2010 4cyl 2wd access cab. auto trans. It has 37,000 miles on it.

    Trade value is always going to bend you over.

    Look at dealer retail, now look at trade.
    The dealer is not in business to pay top dollar for your old vehicle and resell it for no profit.
    If he's going to buy your vehicle, it's going to be worth his while.
