    In 98 they went to the 4.7 v-8 because the I-6 was "underpowered" for the 5000 pound tank... Lol

    Had trucks for 25 years. Then ten years ago, we replaced the PU with a 4 Runner and a utility trailer. Never missed not having the bed. Replaced the 4 Runner with a Taco, only because the price of new 4 runners were out of sight. Still use the utility trailer and the bed only for stuff that could fit in back of z4 Runner. Think about it. You could get a double cab and put a cap on it....a Faux 4 Runner for less money of keep the fine vehicle you have with trailer.
