Thanks for the bump, still not seeing any progress so I think I'm just going to buy a new flat hood and then just take this to the range and shoot it.

Umm, I'm assuming there is a ton of sarcasm ^there^, but why not get an estimate on how much it would cost you to just get a new, flat hood painted and ask that price that for your scooped one?

Yeah, about that. You're mistaken. I can buy a new one, shoot the old one, and not have to deal with people wanting me to drive all over the country to save them a bunch of money and keep my shop from accumulating even more car parts that I will never bolt back onto anything.

I guess the "no mental midgetry" really shut it down which in the end was probably for the best. No biggie.

Admin can lock it whenever it's convenient for them.

First of all, If you're considering shooting it then you must not need the money, or you have the money to go buy a new hood and get it painted, begging the question why haven't you done it already. It would obviously save you some grief. Whining cuz people won't conform to you is not the way to go about it. You must be willing to make compromises in life in order to make things work. Second of all, shooting the hood will accomplish absolutely nothing except demonstrating your inability to deal with other people, in which case, putting up this thread was not a good idea.

No, thank you for demonstrating, for everyone else, the point I was trying to make by replying with a smartass comment. Thank you for showing your lack of maturity. Maybe it's not everyone else's "mental midgetry".

I shit in your hat somewhere along the line that I'm not aware of? I could care less what you think with your amazing internet analysis abilities. Why do you care so much about a deal you never had a hand in anyway? I tried to offer it to someone here to help as it seems that the scoop is a desirable item for some people who frequent this site. I had offers to drive to Tennessee to trade hoods on the side of the highway during the peak of the winter, drive to Nevada, and other offers that my original post pretty much should have clearly negated. Didn't pan out so there it is.

This is where you "shit in my hat". It chaps my ass wheThis post was pretty much you saying, "I could give a rats ass where this hood ends up". It was really pointless for you to tell us that you could go get a new hood, and then take the other one and shoot it. Should have just done it and never said a word about it.

I agree with you that the first post made it perfectly clear what you were looking for. Those who made ridiculous offers to you anyway, should have just been ignored. I don't understand why you felt it necessary to post a complaint about all the stupid out of the way offers you got. Did it make you feel better? Did you need to vent your frustrations?

You and the smartass remarks. No wonder you can't deal with people. This is going no where because you can't have a serious conversation. I didn't feel bad about myself in the first place, nor do I feel bad about myself now. I feel bad for you and the people who must interact with you on a daily basis.
