thank you for supporting VW! Hope you enjoy the benefits of the TDI, great gas mileage and the low end torque makes it enjoyable to drive!

I've been behind a few of these modern day oil burners and I still need to roll my windows up on long stretches of stop and go to avoid the fumes. Is that still the case with these new TDi's?

The Grey Jetta in this thread looks great, does that have custom headlights, fairing/bumper?

The S4 Avant is so nice. Appears to be at a track day somewhere? Why did you unload that?!

To the Mod trading paint with the Instigator, Please take it offline, you should know better and it just fuels his (and everyones else's) fire and ruins the good parts of this thread. Geesh.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
They are good little cars, my dad has a 2006 for a company car that his assistant manager drives. It gets about 42mpg in town! Once I get out of college and start working, I plan to save up and buy one for the mileage and so I can rack miles up on it, not my pickup. Good luck with the new ride and best of luck with it!

Just sold my mk4 jetta that I've had for eight years for a 2010 tacoma. So a guy thats used to driving lowered cars, needs to get used to the other side of things.

I had a 2001 Jetta TDI. Got 50 mpg consistently regardless of how I drove. I chipped it and thats all, the torque benefit from the upgrade was fantastic and it was delivered iirc around 1300 rpm or so, full torque.

Well my MK4 (sold to buy my taco) had a very apparent smell of Crayons... To the point that every single person who got in commented on it, So my guess is the employees smell like Crayons;)

Thank you everyone, it was an amazing car to drive. I had close to 390hp from that car and it sounded incredible! Although, it's definitely a car that you have to pay to play to own! That picture was at an Audi Expo last summer that was held at a local track, I never did track that car! I'm sure at some point I'll be back into another one
