Traded in my 2016

I got a used 16 TRD OR w 10k over 2 yrs ago.63k now O problems,love this truck put some ko2’s 265/75’s on it at around 42k.Regular oil changes/rotations that’s it.

 

I ended up with a certified 16 when I went to buy an 18 for price reasons obviously. I was concerned knowing most 16's had many problems. So far so good. 45k on her now. Has a couple dash rattles but every rig does as soon as it gets used offroad. I think I got a lime instead of a lemon. And limes go in beer. Lemons don't. #winning

 

I have a 16 ORDC 4x4, no packages. 25k on it with zero issues, not even a rattle. I got $29k on it toward a 2018 ORDC 4x4 with 5k miles on it with premium and tech. Same color so I could keep my ARE cap. Trading this week, only because I liked the leather heated seats, upgraded radio and safety stuff..

 

When I traded my 2015 in and the service person was looking over my truck he looked underneath it and asked if this truck is from back east. I said no. Bought it in SoCal and that's where it's stayed.
Then he proceed to tell me there was rust on the frame and that's going love lower the value of the truck. I laugh so hard and loud that people stop and stared at us. I asked him if he was serious. He said yes and told me to look for myself. Told him I didn't need to look. I believe him. Then explain to him that I know all about Toyota problem with frames rusting. Why is Toyota replacing frame for free if it not a problem. He didn't say anything else about it. After he was all done and they gave me the trade in value I said no thanks. Don't trust you guys. If you lie about a common problem like the frame rusting I really don't want to buy my new truck here.
When 400 mile north and bought my truck up there.
I miss my 2015 but love my 2018.
