I finally traded in my 2012 spruce mica prerunner for a 2015. I loved my last truck ran great never been stuck even going through crazy muddy roads on my way to hunting spots, but i still felt like i was missing out on something and thats where the 4x4 came in....im super happy with it. Planning to put some nice mods on it as soon I get some more cash lol the honda dealership gave me 12200 for my last truck with 155000 miles on it.

Once you hit a difficult trail in 4lo and see how capable it is, you'll fall in love and be hooked. Feeling the sensation of having power to all 4 wheels makes you wonder why 2wd is even an option lol. I had a '99 Prerunner prior to my 04 4x4 and I speak from experience. I wheeled that '99 but didn't do anything as fun or exciting as I do now with my 04. Congrats on the upgrade!

Now get ready to spend way more money than you thought was possible...probably the only downside to having a 4x4.

The Spruce Mica green though is hands down the most beautiful color Toyota ever put on the Tacoma, it's a damn shame they only offered it a couple of years.

I did the same thing last february. 2012 prerunner to 2015 4x4. No regrets thus far. I also gained a foot of bed length! That's noticeable immediately!

Nice truck. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it.

This. I've only needed my rear locker once, but when I did need it, I really needed it.

Nice bro! I think thats an avid bumper guard. They have matching guards for your rear bumper and sliders too. You might already know that but just thought id throw it out there.
